Danicamania 2009

My point exactly. Waltrip does not have the money to pay her. Junior is having a terrible season, and Hendricks has all the money he needs to pay her. There is big problems in the Childress camp, not only with Harvick, who could move to his own team next year, but also with Mears, who has pleased no one. Now again, I know that this is a dream scenario, but do you really think that this will not help attendance and T.V. ratings if it came to be?

I talked to Kevin's people last week, he's signed through 2010 and most of 2011.

As far as mwr, he's obviously doing something right because "The Franchise" has been consistent all season. Oh, and MWR would get the money to pay Danica if she went there easily through sponsorship endorsements, mechandise sales and other things.

So obviously the best thing that Nascar can do is to get Danica next year. Again, if you can explain to me why T.V. ratings, which have absolutely nothing to do with the economy, continue to fall, let me know. The answer is obvious, and if Nascar has any PR people worth they pay, they get the ball rolling today.

The best thing Nascar can do (and they control everything) is to get her signed with a big name team. How many years did it take her to finally win an IRL race? People still followed her every move during a 50 race drought. Nascar, which orchistrates everything else, can simply get her into a big team, have her finish in the Top 5 in the Dytona 500, and do the exact same thing. This is so obvious that my 11 year old grandson can see it.

Now if Nascar can do this, and then stir up a little controversy along the way (Danica and Junior are both hotheads, and that would be perfect), they are guaranteed instant spikes in their T.V. ratings and their attendance. This can last a few years, giving Nascar a chance to figure out how to legitimately fix what ails their sport, which can be summed up in two words. Lousy Racing.

So JR is 19th in points, that is a terrible year by your standards huh?

That is quite the philosophy on Nascar, yep....that should work out just fine....:sarcasm:
