Very true.. BTW I am glad she is participating she will ultimately help the charity with the attention she brings. The driving experience is also positive.
Yes, all the drivers are to be commended.

For Stewart Fan
No matter what she does (or doesn't do) there will be no shortage of haters chirping.
One thing to keep in mind is that even if she fails miserably she still will have done better than any of us could hope to do.

I hope they at least put some belts and a steering wheel pad in before the race!
Why have a pad? Very rare to see one in a dirt car, and they are pretty much useless.
Agreed just makes it heavier to throw when ya got to lol.
I've seen some pretty busted up forearms and elbows from striking the steering wheel hub, even the bolts can tear you up. I'm analy safety conscious about my cars. If she's running a 13" wheel could you even sqeeze one in there? Why have a pad? Very rare to see one in a dirt car, and they are pretty much useless.
She will have a handful, I've never drive an late model, but have drove an ump open wheel mod & a few center steer (like a sprint car type) and the movement of the rear end is something to get use to.
We run a 15 inch wheel as pretty standard. I got a couple buddies that run 17" wheels in their late models but they are old school and like having the school bus wheel.
I have a feeling that I will end up ordering this event and the primary reason will be Danica.
Tony Stewart presented Dick Berggren with a signed helmet, which was pretty cool. And you can see it really meant a lot to Dick.
View from the back of Jimmie Johnson's car last night.
Nice observation. It was from his twitter feed, I must have assumed and you know what they say about when you assume something. I guess that old adage is true.Hmm, how can the view from the back of Jimmie's car show the front of Jimmie's car? Special new camera?
