I've been a few times. i recommend sitting as high up as you can, most times I tried everything I could to get the highest row possible... your view will best beat the higher you are. These days my seat of choice would be after the tri oval around where pit lane ends. If you are still concerned about being around the start finish line this gives you a good chance to see the start finish and see action at end of pit road and honestly it's not mentioned much but I personally care more about watching the field go into the corners. I think some of those views are better than just seeing start/finish area.

Also it's important to know. If you are traveling to Daytona and are going to need a place to stay, you'll need to book a room NOW, honestly they sometimes have things booked well in advance so I don't know your situation there, but if you need to reserve a room you best check all that out first.

Lastly, have fun! It's my favorite track I've gone to. The vibe of the speedway is unreal. Just thinking about all the history and different moments there. It would give me chills each time.

Hope some of this helps.

I would recommend sitting no lower than the 300 level. I've been to 6 races since the remodel and I usually go 400 level anywhere from pit entrance to pit exit as those in my opinion are the best seats, but 300 level is plenty high enough to see the entire track. The amenities are also pretty equally spread out so you don't lose out on any of that by choosing one over the other. Each level has its own cool stuff to offer.

About 40 rows up, you’ll see 85% of the track, and the very top row, I usually see 99%(rotating signs on top of the scoring tower will block everyone’s view).

Sat 5 rows up one year, and I may as well have watched from home.

This is almost a duplicate of my advice. Great minds think alike. :D

Since the Daytona Rising rebuild we always sit in Turn 1 Section 474 Row 33 seats 1&2. It's perfect for us. See everything and food/bathroom/beer is really close by.

If budget is no issue then I agree with JH and Johali's recommendation, but if you are a little tight,
I would sit 15- 20 rows up at pit entrance. It gets crazy when they dive in to the pits sometimes and coming off of 4 they get crossed up
a good bit ala JH in the 48. Park early, prepare to walk , and after the race move towards the center to get a good view of the
post race victory circle party. The stadium concourse is really spectacular.

You are in for the time of your life!
