My first car was a 67 camaro...
Interesting the description reads as below for this beautiful car...

1967 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 #67
Originally driven by Lake Underwood, Dean Alles, and Bill Baldwin

67 camaro's had front window vents, they were removed starting in 68.
There is a further detailed description at this link http://www.historictransam.com/Drivers/JohnRomanoCamaro67.html that says it is an authentic 67 z28 camaro 1 of 602 built. They also show a picture of the car in an actual 67 Trans Am race where the car has the front window vents. I wonder why someone would go through the time and expense of such a beautiful restoration and not have the correct window vents?

Cool beans. The #66 Chaparrel was racing at the peak of the slot car craze in the 60's. Cox decal on the side of the car was a big player in slot cars in the larger scales and a sponsor also. Johnny Lightning sponsored a car in Indy. Aurora made a slot car model of the Chaparrel in H.O. scale

Cool beans is right, I remember those days well, and still have a bunch of Cox flying model stuff but forgot about the slot cars.

Jimmy Carr's family lives few miles down the road.
