Daytona 500 countdown

The blue #58 Ford car is interesting. It has 58 front fenders and bumper, 57 rear quarters (which is probably the year it is) and a 56 Ford hood.

That's a 58 hood but the front of that car is just awkwardly assembled, shall we say. The quarters it's hard to tell from from this angle whether it's a 57 or 58 but either way it's a Custom or (Custom 300) body which has shorter length quarters and different fins than the Fairlane models of either year. The Customs were only available as sedans while the Fairlanes could be had as either sedans or hardtops.
