To answer a frequently asked question, it appears there is no online streaming of Daytona testing.

Doesn't DirecTV let you watch online? I use Dish Network. It allows me to watch anything that I am able to get at home on any device that I have internet access from. It only gets a little dangerous if I try to watch NASCAR on my phone during my commute home. ;)
 
Just called my cable provider to get the sports package just to watch this lol... for some reason my wife decided sports weren't important .. until now it didn't matter... glad its Canadian because I still get Speed channel :) .. TSN/ESPN 2 plus a whole bunch of other channels I forgot I missed lol..

Do you guys have Dish Network down there? I think that they have the world channels... you should be able to get the Speed channel through that somehow no? There must be some way for you guys to get the Speed channel.. it exists.. so there must be a way to get it down there. If not .. I'll let you guys know what happens on R U Faster Than A Redneck and how much that 69 Chevy goes for in Barrett Jackson :p

I remember when this whole FS1 thing was first happening I thought we Canadians were S.O.L. for both channels and that Speed was going to stop playing NASCAR practice and qualifying and testing... turns out.... nope... just stayed the exact same as before. Okay okay so Im rubbing it in a little bit.. wouldn't you too?
 
I wish they at least had a live leaderboard or something..... I know its raining so it doesn't matter but they never really gave the option anyway... Did they get on track at all?

NASCAR needs rain tires. Literally every other racing association uses them. Wanna make the cars "more stock like?" Lettem drive in the rain
 
Oh man..... I can't wait for them to get on the track. It's been a loooong off season!

Some news coming from the interviews @ Daytona.....

@nateryan Carl Edwards says he really liked the Charlotte test because #nascar executives have been receptive to making lots of changes to the cars.

Wonder what that will mean?
 
Watching the coverage on Fox Sports 1 right now on Dish Anywhere. Looks like it will be chalked full of nothing more than interviews.
 
Looks like no testing today. Fox sports 1 has basketball on tap tonight, no way they bump that for cup practice. Might be shown for the 10 people who have fox sports 2 though.
