Daytona "Wide Open" race thread!

WHY oh why

Do I have to listen to a guy in a black T-shirt singing, I don't know what, instead of seeing a race? I sure wish they would post the RACE TIME on the TV and save this silly time for interviews AFTER the race!!

For the one million'th time people, it says "NASCAR on TNT Live 6:30pm-:30pm EST" and then it says "NASCAR Countdown" 7:30pm-8pm, and then it says "NASCAR Racing" 8pm-11:15pm EST.

If you don't want to watch pre-race coverage, turn it off. :rolleyes:

Then why the hell do they call it "Nascar live on TNT?" Unless you live in front of the TV set (which Andy obviously does), that title is really misleading. If I turn on the TV and see that title, my first thought is "ooh, the race is on." But no, that just means it's another hour-and-a-half. They should just call it what it is..."90+ minutes or pre-race garbage on TNT."

Damn, I just wish it wasn't raining around here, I'd probably be at an actual race track so I could just DVR the whole thing.

We have a HUGE Motocross race next week. Naturally, Hurricane Bertha wants to come wash it out. :)

That comment shows Bill Weber doesn't think before he speaks and shows he doesn't pay attention to what he's commentating on.

They showed the video, they interviewed the drivers. Junyer said he signaled and McMurray said he wasn't paying attention.

Wth did Weber interject that ignorant little comment?:confused::mad:

Jamie didn't say that he wasn't paying attention, he said that he was looking a hundred yards ahead which is the point where you have any hope of reaction time at 175 per.
 
I like the 18 car. His car is very loose, but I don't think Kyle cares how loose that thing gets.

So far, I like the P.I.P. for the commercials. We get to see a little more racing and a little less commercials...:D
 
Darn it... I kept switching between Tony and Jeff on the fantasy league all week and finally went with Tony. Hear me dropping like a ROCK?!!! LOL Oh well, I'll be happy with a Jeffy win. Surprised? LOL

Tell ya what, it's been funny watching JJ and JJ race each other all night, and not draft each other at all.
