Daytona "Wide Open" race thread!

Kyle Is the best driver in Nascar. I dare somebody to to say otherwise....

If lagano is so great then why did'nt he race friday night, u think JGR would want lagano in the 20 to get some exprience at daytona before he races full time next year. That race would of really boosted his cofidence cause as u saw that car won.

NASCAR didn't let him race at Daytona. They require that a driver have more experience than Joey has had before they will be allowed on the plate tracks.

As to your reply about Ky being the best and that he needs to have 8 titles before anyone can say that, I'd say that this was said about the current season and drivers. Those who have won 7 are no longer racing. One that has 4 titles is racing and is far behind Kyle in the points. There are three others with two titles and they too are far behind Kyle, and three more single title holders that are also way behind. So, at the present, Kyle is certainly tops in his class but as to say that he's tops all time, not just yet. A few years ago, Kasey Kahne had six wins in a season and he didn't come close to the title. Kyle may or may not win the title, but as of right now, he is on top.
 
OK that makes sense about lagano but he'll be in the same perdicament next year at daytona never raced at daytona.
As for kyle yes this season he is at the top so right now he's the best but as in "pure drivers" no he is not the best but he is in my top 5(and no jr. is'nt 1st)
