Dear Brad Keselowski: Shut up and drive

as long as the black copter is flying, they took the 48 last week, looked it over and no penalties, had to weigh the thing four times I heard? I thought it was Hendrick's turn in the bucket..nothing

Huh, I don't think Brad lost it, matter of fact I think we are seeing him play out what he thinks will bring more people to the sport. Also bring more fans to him, young society today likes this kind of character. They are undisciplined, used to getting their way, and hate hearing no. This one is big, they love bad, ask any young teenage girl whats more attractive: the goody two shoe well spoken small group socialite or the bad boy loud mouth who pushes the rules and enjoys a riskier social life. Young guys not much different. Brad just may be smarter than everyone on this one (got to remember he got DRUNK on TV and never once said the wrong thing).

I used to like his routine because he made sense. For Brad to suggest that Rick and Gibbs are 'stealing' away employees from the richest man in racing is plain dumb. If Roger want's to keep an employee on the payroll, NOBODY in NASCAR can outbid him. Suggesting the 2 fastest organizations 'stole' secrets from one of the slowest organizations is also laughable.

Playing a paronoid fool who makes excuses for his lack of a win makes him a clown in the eyes of every competitor. If he's trying to be a villian, he needs to grow a pair and do it right. Punt Tony's ass for running you onto the curb, or Kyle for his incessant blocking. That I would cheer.

Stolen? Maybe Hendrick offered him more money and a better contract. Who wouldn't leave a current position for one with more money and a better contract?

you need to read what Brad said. It wasn't Penske's employee, and now it isn't Hendrick but Gibbs who took Roush's aero man.

Here is part of what he said..outbidding in this statement..but I think he said took in another part of it when he was talking about Roush losing the aero man.

"What keeps it from going too far is the fact that Hendrick and Gibbs have this nasty little habit of going to other teams and outbidding other people and taking those employees and stealing our information, and, when that happens, that puts walls up between the camps because you are giving up more than one piece of information you are giving up two companies' information and trying to protect yourself against that, it forces you to put up walls. It doesn't necessarily lend itself to working together.

This happens everyday in the business & corporate world. Why is Brad surprised it's happening in NASCAR? He should expect it.

He is young and dumb on those things..looks around for some Ford speed and it isn't there. Hope he jacks up all of them, we need a good feud.

I think it's more of the body of the Fusion that's hindering the blue oval this year, not exactly the power plant. As far as Brad goes, I thought it was good to see him get the Championship last year and I was starting to like him. Now I just want to see somebody stuff him in the fence:cool:

the best thing that could come of this is HMS and Brad start beating and banging on the track. We need some old style rivalries for the sport to survive.

ya think Brad complaining about losing the aero guy to Gibbs and taking all the info with him might be a sign as to why they have been slow all year?

reading between the lines, Penske jumps to ford, thinks he is going to team up with the other Fords and get better support, instead of being the only Mopar team. Ain't happening and they are starting from scratch and ol Jack has the fastest fords. I'd be pissed if I was a driver.

It might have something do with a couple of the Fords free falling in the points.

Oddly enough, Keselowski seemed happy enough to have Penske take Logano from Gibbs when Giibs was more than willing to keep him. Also, many are quick to jump on Roush for being tightfisted so maybe someone jumped ship after getting tired of Jack's cheap ways - if in fact he is that way.

The only thing I know of that RFR lost to JGR is Kenseth and while Roush was out shopping around Edwards, Stenhouse and Biffle, I guess Kenseth must have been left to wonder when he'd end up in NWS full time with Bayne. He bailed and so far it's easy to see why.

HMS is WAY to classy of an organization to partake in such nonsense! I wouldn't mind watching Brad and Joey stuff the Gibbs boys into the fence tho...

One of the reasons I like Brad is because he isn't afraid to say what's on his mind but I'm not really sure where he's coming from with this one. Maybe he's trying to back Ford harder since they're in Michigan this week.

The boss said this today:

Penske said Saturday: "I think Brad had some misinformation," when the defending Sprint Cup champion accused Hendrick Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing of luring away Penske employees in an effort to steal information.

Keselowski's comments led to a stern rebuke from Rick Hendrick and Joe Gibbs, as both team owners blasted the driver for spreading false information.
"We didn't lose any employees who were under contract or who weren't free to go elsewhere as part of our engine reorganization," Penske said before the IndyCar race at the Milwaukee Mile.

Jeff. Phoenix. I could also see Jr giving him a hard time, but I'm not talking about fence stuffing.

I have a feeling that's what is on his mind. Roush isn't the most stable organization lately, and perhaps Roger has some worries. Penske never shared very well anyway. It's part of the reason they ended up as the only Dodge team in nascar.

Brad is more like Barney Fife is in the case. He needs to nip it in the bud, nip it, nip it, nip it..

The more Brad runs his mouth the more he gives credence to what I've been saying around here over the past year regarding his propensity for making ignorant, misguided and uninformed statements. I hope the king Keselowski nut jugglers around here are enjoying their crow.

after today....i guess hendrick/gibbs gonna have bigger fuel cans ! ha!
