Yeah typical NASCAR right when Junyer needed the caution and right when Harvick is knocked out of lucky dog.
which one? the jamie one or the nemecheck? i still think he is though. he could've put jeff on the wall..but anyhow i am just siding with my driver although jeff admitted he had a flat
The name that you called Jamie. That was uncalled for. AND, since you heard Jeff say that he had a flat, you should have also heard Jeff say that the sun was blinding.
yes i did heard him..but i wrote that comment before jeff came on the radio.
but anyway that still ruined jeff's day
I think that Kevin Harvick and his 31st place finish would differ with you, along with DROPPING 2 places in the points.

I know NBC went all out to prove Robbie Gordon threw the padding but didn't show any of the other timely debris. Which is strange considering they go to great lengths to show anything remotely associated with #8.
Perhaps someone on here was at the race and seen what the debris in question was.
Jeffs day, runined ??
Thank goodness JGordon understood what really happened and in light of it all, knows it as a series of racing incidents. Youthful fans have difficulty knowing the difference and their reaction is emotional rather than waiting to understand what actually took place. And why.
Sixth place is great after overcoming two serious incidents of bad luck. JGordon showed fortitude and remarkable talent with the Atlanta comeback.
Just for the record, Jamie McMurray is a talented driver who does belong in the series. Thoughtless suggestions referencing anothers sexuality are usually associated with immature or unintelligent people.
Hopefully Reck, you do not fit either of these categories.
Oh !!! One last point.
As a Jeff Gordon fan, you are aware, and no doubt angered, by comments on sexual preference, by immature anti-Gordon people.
Knowing this, might not it serve as a reminder to help you in the future, think twice before making an insensitive comment such as the one made about McMurray.![]()
you're right on all accounts whizzer, it was wrong of me calling jamie "insert word here" and i admit that i was wrong and i apologize to all the members here for the comment i made. i'm sorry.

It's pretty easy. Go back thru the races. Was Lil'E about to go a lap down righ when the caution was thrown? How many races? How many other drivers can you find in the same situation?
When DeSpain comments on the number of emails they received during the race about this incident it appears that there may be a sizable number who think the same.
Me, I've seen it so much it's not really worth commenting on. It's going to happen. Live with it and go on. As long as NASCAR caters to the #8 fan base, and Benny totes his water on the telecast there's not anything anyone can do.
Reck, your apology is appreciated.
It is an indicator you are a person of high character who made an error in judgement, recognizes and understands that error and is mature and thoughtful enough to admit it.
Yeah Reck! That, and the politicaly correct police got ya, didn't they? You made the horrible mistake of using a WORD that everyone understood... yet was not politicaly correct to some.

If NASCAR if giving JR. a mysterious advantage then why is'nt he leading the points? Better yet why does'nt he have a championship yet? It looks to me if there is an mysterious advantge Jimmie Johnson is the one that has it.
No, Jimmie Johnson has the talent it takes to turn a bad day around and make a good run out of it. There are plenty of times I've seen Dale Jr. get "lucky dog" two, three times in a race and have a subpar result out of it. Johnson, on the other hand, turns it around and makes a win out of it.
Well he has as many Cup championships as Lil'E, who has been in Cup 1 year longer. Or, to put it another way:
.....Wins..T5....T10..Avg Finish
JJ.....23...64...107...12.3
Lil'E...17...69...107...16.1
So yeah I guess those stats do bear out that JJ is a no talent bum!!!??
At least Jr. got a Busch Series Championship.
Make that two.
Johnson managed an 8th and a 10th in the points in his full seasons in Busch. Six top fives too.
I'm not the one bragging about their drivers apparent "talent". I was pointing out that he doesn't have any championships to show for all that "talent".
Just pointing out facts.
YET !
