At the beginning of fox's coverage on Sunday for the 500, they started talking about briefly about the different generations of nascar cup cars. I remember them saying gen 4 was 1989 to 2006, gen 5 2007 to 2012, and of course the current gen 6. what about gen 1 through 3?
what were the major differences between these gens? also the gen 6 in my opinion should really be a gen 5...it appears to simply be a COT with a new skin.
