DIRECTV or Dish

Spoke with DIRECTV a while ago, talking to Dish now. I can't take only having eight channels much longer.
No matter what you decide you'll be overcharged. I've had a 10' BUD, Big Ugly Dish, Primestar, DirecTV & Dish Network. I've been happy with them all and eventually dissatisfied with there service only to move to the next service. They are all too expensive. If you want to go cheap than you have to go strictly OTA from an antenna and be satisfied with what you can receive.

I'm still using Dish and I'm more than happy with our setup. I've got their Hopper system that allows me to watch all network recordings commercial free with their auto-hop feature. When it's time for a commercial it just skips ahead past the commercials and right back to the show. The system also automatically records ever single show on ABC, CBS, FOX, & NBC every night of the week during prime time. It keeps them for a week and the automatically deletes them after 8 days unless I choose to save the series. I just recently upgraded my Hopper receivers to have ones with the built-in Sling adapter. Regardless of where I'm at, regardless of what device I have in my hand, as long as I have an internet connection or 4G through Verizon I can watch whatever is on either of my DVR's or live TV off of my receivers at home. At this point that covers just about everywhere that we go. Our current setup includes 2 networked Hoppers, 3 Joey's, 2 VIP receivers, & 1 Dish Tailgater antenna allowing for travel. All HD of every channel offered in HD. 4TB of storage allowing me to record everything that I want that is accessible from any TV in my network, iPad's, iPhone or Android devices as well as any PC or laptop.

If you've got any more questions about the DISH equipment or programming I can probably help you with that. As far as price goes, they are the best ones to talk to.
