Dirty Little Secrets about to be Exposed

I could care less unless someone was physically abused. What goes on between spouses or exes is their business. I also think it is a classless act for an ex to expose a lovers entrusted secrets. It also low life to dig behind closed doors, no one needs to know, aside from juvenile giggles no purpose is served.
.

I didn't care about the Frances' personal lives when they were married; I don't care about them now that they're divorced; and until either of them sign a deal to drive in at least the K&N series then I'll continue to not care.

It will be interesting to see why Brian fought so hard to keep these files sealed. Count me among the curious.

What if there are pictures of meaty, beaty, big and bouncy woman? Surely you could muster some interest then. ;)

pa...pa...please, I am a man of principles. My taste is for the skinny bouncy flexible women....
And pictures are good, they don't kiss and tell, or talk about my personal relations with them.

Seriously, as for the meaty women, I can only reiterates that Brian's personal business is just that, his personal business. He can wear a pink tutu to bed or not for all I care, once he closes his door it is his personal business. Neither does the public need to know about his private personal business. No one should have such invasive rights at another's personal expense .

There is a bizarre cultists personality exploitation, exploration going on here that wants to know the private details of peoples most intimate affairs. The golden rule should apply, even with my enjoyment and admiration of beautiful women. I don't want to see images taken of her in her private life that she would object too being made public. When a person goes to court to block the exposure of their personal private affairs it should be respected regardless of their status.

If one disagrees they should try posting with user names that match their real names as well as exposing their own most unflattering private quirks. Truly the least one can do, if they are so desirous of gaining access to another's private life, especially when it violates there legal objections.

On a softer scale, this is too close to boundaries that pleasure peeping Toms. A softer scale of Identity theft as well, as in gaining data from someones records that they clearly want to keep private.

There should be an inner voice of reasoning were a person knows they want some privacy rights themselves, and it should tell the person to respect the same need from others as well. Legally the permission may be gained, but a personal code of decency should compel one to abstain.

Post Post footnote: Notice my use of reiterate(s), when you can add a "s" to verb, as well as a redneck fixes up personal pronouns with an "s" you have to be proud.

I'm not quite sure what everyone expects to hear from the disclosure of information in the sealed documents other than terms of their divorce and the like. Do you really think that we're going to learn the story behind the Mayfield saga? Really? Maybe we'll really find out what the story was surrounding Tim Richmond? Maybe we'll finally know the real story about the death of Dale Earnhardt? I'd guess that it's nothing more than financial data. It wasn't just Brian France that wanted this information sealed, it was his ex-wife Megan France as well. Apparently that is the law in North Carolina that all of this type of information is made public. Personally even if I were John Doe living in NC I wouldn't like that information released about me and my ex either. It's nothing more than a fight by the Charlotte Observer and its news partner, WCNC-TV to get this information out there for all to see. I'm not really sure why it's all that important.

I'm betting huge income and net worth is what they want to hide. In NYS, divorce records are sealed as a matter of procedure. Brian being the head of a publicly owned corporation may be why they will be made public, but it sure seems odd to release them to the media.

The media lawyers are the ones fighting for this to be released.

Do you remember when Teresa Earnhardt had to fight the Florida courts to keep Dale Earnhardt's autopsy photos sealed? In Florida, at least at the time, those photos are to be public record and made available to anyone that would like to see them. I think it was the Orlando Sentinel that was fighting to have the photos released. This reminds me of that somewhat. Do we really need to know that bad.

The France situation is worse, IMO. With Earnhardts death, there were serious questions about the belts, etc that the autopsy report could have helped resolve. As far as the pictures, I didn't want to see them.

I certainly don't mean to turn this into an Earnhardt thread but I will say this. The autopsy report was released and is in the accident investigation report that was released to the public. It is only the pictures that weren't released. That's all they were fighting for. Nothing more than being able to print the pictures of a dead driver.

As far as France goes I couldn't care less how much he makes or is paying his wife.

As previously stated, it's standard for divorce records to be made public in NC so for some it may be the simple fact that Brian France gets no special treatment. For others, it's probably just more gossip material and for the rest, well, they just don't give a s**t.

Maybe because na$car has gotten huge tax breaks/credits the public would like to know if we're footing his alimony/child care. Just sayin'

I'm not curious about that private crap matt, I'm not even curious yellow. :p

Everyone is curious. Not everyone admits it.

Curiosity is a very healthy trait. It's part of what sends Man to the Moon and part of what causes children to become interesting little people and what causes little boys to wanna peek under little girl's dresses (at least it did for me! :p) . Without curiosity, life would be pretty boring, I think.

As for the private "negotiations" between any couple getting divorced, I really don't give a hot flyin' frak as long as it doesn't impact the quality of the entertainment. The very public divorce between Frank and Jamie McCourt (former LA Dodger owners) was signifigant because the proceedings had a direct and tangible impact on the product (Dodger Basesall) so every detail was important to the TEAM and therefore to the public.

I really didn't care if Jamie was sleeping with her bodyguard or if Frank was sleeping with Tommy Lasorda. OK, I am lying. If Frank and Tommy had been sleeping together, I would have been very interested - in a sordid sorta way!

lol Nice rant, Robby.

The Sinatra and Lasorda affair would put a new spin on a lot of Franks song titles, such as Accidents Will Happen, An Affair to Remember, All I Do Is Dream of You, Baubles Bangles and Beads, Anything goes, Bim Bam Baby, The Dum Dot Song (I Put A Penny In The Gum Slot), A Fella With An Umbrella, Five Hundred Guys, From the Bottom to the Top, A Good Man is Hard to Find, He's My Guy,........ [OMG, I can't stop]........ How Could You Do a Thing Like That to Me?, The Hurt Doesn't Go Away, I Got a Gal I Love (In North And South Dakota), I Like to Lead When I Dance, I'm Gonna Make It All the Way, It Happened in Monterey, L.A. Is My Lady, Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let IT Snow!, Nice 'n' Easy, ..........[curse you Wiki for being so thorough] ..........The Only Couple On the Floor, That Great Come and Get It Day, What Do I Care for a Dame?, You'll Get Yours, You're Lonely and I'm Lonely, The Boys Night Out, All the Way, Both Sides Now, Come Blow Your Horn, Dear Little Boy of Mine, You're The Top, and of course I Got Plenty O' Nuttin'.

o_O

Just for curiosity sake. Let's say if you could see brian in a dress on a page on the internet. Would you click on the link?

And yes, I will need many beers to provide this link. B)

I read this to mean that given enough beer, you would put on a dress, impersonate Brian, have your picture taken and post it on the interweb for all to see, right?

I'm IN! I will pony up $5.00. Who is with me???!

LOL While I love where your head went with this, the Frank I was referring to was McCourt - not Sinatra.
However, after reading your post, I wish the Lasorda/Sinatra tryst had been a reality!!
(No Photos - PLEASE!)

I figured one crazy rant deserved another. ;)

When does racing start?

Everyone that opened this thread is curious. Why else would you open it?
Everyone is curious. Not everyone is curious about the same things. The discussion title isn't very specific. Once I learned what the discussion was about, I lost interest in the main topic. I'm just here now to find out if Tommy Lasorda and the McCourts ever had a three-way.
