Discussion On The Sprint Unlimited

Wonder if Matt will get a fine for using the F word?

Very few would have noticed had the geniuses at Speed not pointed it out. I didn't catch it at first so of course I had to replay it. But at least it was on cable so Matt won't have to deal with a fine.

I didn't notice it. Either I'm just very used to it that I don't notice curse words anymore or I wasn't paying attention.

well, jR. proved you cant push a FORD with a CHEVY,Matt proved you cant sleep and drive.

No wonder that Dale Jr. didn't go out for the second practice. I'm guessing that was to be a 196 and not 1976?

I have trouble from time to time. I wasn't able to get past the 'please wait' screen for the media sessions.
I have to wait for my eyes to reset after that huge brightass homepage pops up, they must despise PC users.

That first page is way to bulky. I hope when racing starts, and they have info to post, they move past this intro to something cleaner and streamlined. I have decent bandwidth and it still takes 5 seconds to load.

I hate, loathe and despise that first page. Did I say I also dislike it?

Kenseth even said something along the lines of "I didn't even know he was there." No spotters? Blind spotters?

Sprint Unlimted TV Ratings: FOX was first in the ratings (1.3 in the 18-49 year-old target demographic) and also in overall viewers (5.157 million) with NASCAR's "Sprint Cup: The Sprint Unlimited" from Daytona International Speedway in Florida, which drew a 1.3 rating and 5.16 million viewers. While the race was just an exhibition race before the season starts next Sunday, it was still strong enough to lead the night in ratings.

Even though it was strong enough to lead the night in ratings.....

Sprint Unlimited on Fox on got a 3.3 overnight rating, down 18% from last year (4.0) and network’s lowest overnight ever for event.

That's a HUGE drop from recent years.

2012: 7.467 million viewers
2011: 7.847 million
2010: 8.187 million
2009: 8.3 million

Kinda strange.
