Does PETA have any credibility up there?

Well you know where I come from politically and I think PETA is a bunch of crap, actively put down the animals they take in rather then find them homes.

Seems to me I saw something about a sheep that hadn't been sheared in years. It could hardly walk the wool was so thick and heavy.
Would PETA rather the animals die because they couldn't eat or drink?

Found it ---

Yes, Shrek was quite famous down here.
If a sheep like that rolls over they can't get themselves back up. As a kid even in the big city I remember my dad having to help push a sheep back up as it couldn't do it alone. We have about 60 extinct/dormant volcanoes in our city and the council uses sheep on them to keep the grass down around the summits.

I guess they can quit shearing them and in a couple of three thousand years they might be able to keep from falling over. :idunno:

Yeah, PETA is wack. I've mentioned this before, but I remember when they had a crazy anti-Nintendo campaign going several years ago. They had a Pokémon game where you play as the Pokémon and fight Ash, who is evil and oppressive. They had a Mario game where you play as a skinned tanooki (raccoon dog) and chase down Mario, who is wearing your fur, still dripping with your blood. The Cooking Mama game is too ridiculous for words.

I dunno what their deal was, but it was pretty demented, unintentionally funny stuff. Actually, those games might still be up today.

Holy canoli, find me those games!

HOLY CRAP

Heres a pic of our city. Those blue tear drops signify different volcanic eruptions. But it has been many years since any erupted. I mean hundreds of years.

If some kooky but hawt tasty wimmins wants to protest nekids, I can give them a few minutes of attention.
At least act all Renaissance man or something understanding. ... at least long enough to see the show.

Putin had the right idea when a topless woman charged the stage. He met her with open hands. Unfortunately his security got her first and moved her out of the way.

Bugger that. It depends on what caused it. If it's crustal movement like what's happening in Mexico ... Yer asking for trouble. But there's a string of mounts that start just before montreal (includes Mont Royal) and makes a straight line to a sea mount off the coast of maine. One hotspot (like Hawaii) that the crust moves over. Mont Royal, Mont St-Bruno, Mont St-Hillaire, Mont Gregoire, Rougemont, Orford ..... All are extinct magma chambers that never broke surface as volcanos ... and were only exposed by erosion of the softer dirt and rock around them. If you've ever been to Stone Mountain outside Atlanta ... same thing, just not as clean. Google maps actually shows the end of the chain underwater. Kinda freaky.

PETA , LOL I not anyone takes them serious anymore, what a crock they be.

The Tampa Bay Rays have a large fish tank in their stadium with stingrays and stuff. A home run ball occasionally lands in the tank. PETA found out, and attempted to sue the team for endangering the fish.

That pretty much sums up PETA.
