Rent your Penske truck from Home Depot.......does Joey need to start looking for a new ride?

Penske and The Home Depot have partnered to provide greater convenience, savings and one-stop shopping for your moving supplies and home improvement needs. Now, you can rent Penske’s moving trucks from participating Home Depot locations.
From convenient locations and quality trucks to among the widest selection of home-improvement and moving supplies around -- Penske and The Home Depot provide virtually everything you’ll need before, during and after your big move.

Interesting point made. It's very well documented Home Depot isn't happy with the on track performance. They've already scaled back this year and let Dollar General onboard for some races. I think Joey was rushed in to quick to Cup and could've really benefitted from more seat time in Nationwide. I don't feel he's reached his potential yet.

Nice find clutch. For those who don't remember, Penske did a business deal to nab Pennzoil from Childress. I really hope this is a sign (along with going to Ford) that Penske will nab Ricky Stenhouse Jr from Roush. That kid will have a huge Cup career when he finally gets his chance.

Where might I find this documentation where The Home Depot has stated they are unhappy with on-track performance?

When's the last time Home Depot featured Logano in a commercial? I remember a couple right after he took over for Tony, but I can't remember any new spots in the past 2 years.

Matt , Matt , Matt ,Matt ...documentation , documentation ...tsk ,tsk ,tsk ...dream on .

I know. I just see these posts where people claim that The Home Depot is supposedly unhappy with Joey but no one ever posts a link. Perhaps the claims are true but I'd like to see proof.

I have a friend that drinks coffee at the Speedway cafe which is just a few blocks from IMS and the waitress told him Joey was going to get moved down to the minor leagues next year. :D

It's called anecdotal evidence Matt , it's like irrefutable evidence only different .

I think it's entirely based on assumptions.

Yeah, it's hard to imagine Home Depot looking for a change after Logano has gotten them 1 win while their biggest competitor, Lowe's, got 16 wins and 2 championships since 2009. If it weren't for the Joey death watch, Home Depot would be invisible in NASCAR.

If anyone in this thread feels it's likely that Home Depot resigns Logano, speak up.

You're a silly, silly man.
Seriously , Danica would love to get cut some of the slack that fans give Logano . He and Montoya (and some others )are long overdue . Hopefully , getting to victory lane , is not the only criteria that sponsors use to measure return on investment . If it were , companies like Budweiser would have left a long time ago . Noone has spent as much money as they have , only to see Dupont and Lowes spend many years dominating .

Put Stenhouse in the car .

Put Stenhouse in a good cup team and he'll win halfway through his 2nd season or sooner. He and Kez are friends, and Brad speaks highly of Ricky, which makes me think Penske moving to Ford opens the door. I believe that Stenhouse has a contract with Ford, but I could be wrong. He did pass on trying to get into the #22.

There's more out there, try Googling the subject. I don't think you'll find a video of the CEO calling Joey out if that's the documentation you're looking for. Also it's been mentioned several times on the broadcasts by Larry Mac.

It's no secret that LoNOGO has always sucked in cup. He'll be done sooner or later.

I think that it's all kinda fun. Reminds me of when we were kids planning what we were going to get for Christmas , we were always so sure what we were getting ..Now ,I prefer to 'let the mystery be '., and just wait for an announcement.

When I was a kid, I had a whole lot more invested in Christmas than I now have in which way Joey's career goes. He seems like a nice kid, but he had a better chance to make it than most get.

He did, but he really was hurt by being rushed in to Cup. He's doing good in the Nationwide car this year obviously. Idk, maybe he'd be better off concentrating just on Cup.

Both of those links confirm that I am correct in that there is no factual evidence that The Home Depot has made any statements regarding Joey's performance. Actually, I don't even know why you posted them.

We should start a sliced bread in a toaster pool. The one who guesses the week of the 'sliced bread is toast' announcement wins. Then we can all read it together.

And if it comes to pass I shall humbly feast on a plate of crow.:)
