Dollar General 300

I could kick myself. I fell asleep way before the end of the race. :(

Check your local listings. ESPN or ESPN2 will replay the race next week. The finish is worth watching. Trevor gets the "atta-boy" award fersure!

Drivers again complaining about "being raced too hard".

Saw this somewhere.....

Drivers complaining about being "raced too hard" is like a running back complaining about being tackled too much. It does seem to be equal "I was tackled to hard" or "I was pitched at too fast."

Good analogy.

What about Tom Brady:D

@DP: That's a great analogy! And I agree with it 100%.
@AML: I do NOT want NASCAR to be like F1. I love hard racing (and I love Pee Wee) but I have to agree with Kyle on this one. JGR said that Joey was in the 18 last week - instead of the 20 - because of the owner's championship. With Kyle not running N'wide last week, JGR put their best available driver in that car. Joey knew this and yet put the 18's championship at risk.
@BobbyFord: Sorry for your loss. RIP, Uncle Ford!
@KG: Of course he had every right to race him hard. That's not what I am saying. Sometimes in a team sport (and in this case we are talking teams as in the way that Eddie Haskell's teammate helped him win the race) teammates should be working for a common goal. And as far as your love of crashes and hatred of certain drivers, all I can say is:
@FB: If it were up to me, I would dump Denny before I dumped Joey...

Happy Saturday everyone!!!

You don't want NASCAR to be like F1, but you think a teammate should back out to let another teammate win? Sounds a lot like F1 to me.

Your team is in last place in the division and you're going to talk **** about Dallas?

I never mentioned Dallas I was talking about Tom Brady, relating back to a post where someone said that complaining about close racing is like complaining about being tackled.

Oh, did Stewart Fan delete "Tony Romo" from the post you quoted?

I never said that he should back out to let the 18 win!!!
Pay Attention if you are gonna criticize...

What I said was that since the 18 is in position to win an owner's championship, the 20 car probably should not have made such a risky attempt at passing - by diving low and making it THREE-WIDE going into turn one after a restart. If Joey was faster than Kyle, so be it. Pass the MOFO! But don't pull a stupid-ass move which puts both you and your teammate at risk.

JEEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I refuse to see this from Joe Gibbs point of view. I think the problem for Kyle is that he does that type of thing all the time. Props to Joey for backing off and not forcing the issue.

I don't understand....

"I refuse to see this from Joe Gibbs point of view."

WTF does that mean?
