Double duty serving Kyle Larson well

When Kyle wasn't running a car prepared by a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team, he couldn't find his way to Victory Lane with a GPS in spite of everyone telling us he could win on a bicycle. He gets back in a car prepared by his Cup team and it's the Kyle Busch Show.

The words "my driver can win in anything" are seldom used these days. Mile and a halfs and such require more hardware then driver IMO
Any driver that wins all three series in one weekend must have quite a bit of something going for him though :idunno:

The only way "my driver can win in anything" works is if Kyle was racing the NWS and CWTS with a field of full 42 Cup drivers.

I have never said he didnt need a competitive car to win, I know better than that. Put him in an equal car and he can run with anybody IMO He races every Sunday in a field full of cup drivers and does fairly well

Even JJ?

Gibbs cars are superior to Hendrick cars. Kenseth proved it last year before he choked away the championship and Hamlin proved it in 2010 before he choked away the championship.

Jimmie = GOAT.

Gibbs cars are not superior to Hendrick cars. Look at motor failures for each team, Gibbs and Toyota struggle with motor reliability while Hendrick hardly ever has engine failures. Hendrick has the best engine department in the business, hence the reason Stewart haas, the 51, and Earnhardt ganassi all use Hendrick motors. Also, Jimmie has possibly the best crew chief of all time preparing his cars, and consistently the best pit crew. In a world where Gibbs is better then Hendrick is a world where superman and Wonder Woman exist as well :dunce:. And kenseth won 7 races because he is one of the best drivers in the sport and was always under appreciated at roush, a lesser organization than Gibbs. Not to mention roush put all his eggs in the Carl Edwards basket

4 dnfs for Kyle and 3 for Kenseth last year are the real championship killers, unless Nascar uses some goofy kind of point system

Kyle used to drive for Hendrick. Did you forget about that? He went to Gibbs and immediately went from being a one win a year driver to being a 3+ wins a year driver. I'm certain Gibbs cars are better than Hendrick cars. I'm not so sure about the existence of Superman and Wonder Woman though - however I am also 100% certain that the girl playing Wonder Woman in the upcoming Superman movie is hot.

I know he drove for Hendrick andy. The Gibbs cars are hot and cold, so far this year they all been kinda cold, I expect that will change later in the season.
The 20 did appear fairly strong at Bristol, even after a nasty hit. The 20 will probably be the strongest of the 3 all year though, just like last year.

This is a very serious question that no one has been able to truthfully answer. When kybu wins It's all driver but when he loses It's the car. Kybu drove the wheels offa that thing and won the race, VS, they gave him a sheety car that's why he lost.

Its quite simple Fender, If theres a win in the thing Kyle will drive it for all its worth and win. Sometimes he wins when he doesnt have the best car, he is a smart driver that knows every trick in the book. He really shines in the lower powered cars and trucks probably from all the late model experience. He didnt win Bristol because there were about ten cars that were a load better than his IMO

....He really shines in the lower powered cars and trucks probably from all the late model experience. ..

It might also be true that there is a lot less competition in the lower powered cars and trucks . Some folks tend to overlook that the competition at the top level is top notch.

I agree but there is some fierce competition in the lower series as well, ex cup champs and whatnot

Uh, Hello there It's Johali. It's not simple, In My Opinion, he's got a lot of raw talent but not any more than 10 other CUP drivers in the CUP series week in and week out or he would have more consistent and better finishes. This is all opinion and not an answer to the question.

No I didn't forget about that. Both him and Vickers left because they didn't want to be 3rd fiddle to Gordon and Johnson, who get the top resources for Hendrick. At Gibbs, Busch gets the top equipment but Toyota doesn't have the consistency in the engine department that Hendrick does

All 4 drivers at HMS have the same equipment. I'm sure it's the same at JGR

It's what each team does with that equipment that separates them.

Let me fix that for ya. Both him and Vickers left because they were fired.

Ultimately though, the biggest fix for that series that would take away all the problems and even things out is that they need more standalone races. If the Cup Series is in New Hampshire and practice and qualifying is all on Saturday afternoon (the way it should be) and the Nationwide Series is racing at Irwindale on Saturday night, problem's taken care of. Sure, the Cup drivers might try to fly out to Irwindale but, at that point, it's coming at a steep cost for them.

Yeah right. the track owners would love that. So would the TV crews. Probably a good idea to learn a bit about business economics and logistics. Compromises have to be made for the almighty dollar.

Another old wives tale put to bed . Thank you.
