Dover CWTS Race Thread...

I wanted to root for Kurt in the cup race, but if Kyle wins this and the Nationwide race then I guess I will probably root for a Kyle sweep.

Congrats to Kyle and congrats to my man Chase Elliott for getting 2 speeding tickets and still finished 4th. Great effort!

Kyle must have been running around there at half throttle through most of the race, because when he called her she reacted. I really like Blaneys post race interview.

Kyle is going to give Samantha a birthday present in victory lane tomorrow.

Film at eleven. ;)

Great comeback performance by Chase. Bubba should also be getting better results, he's been running a lot better than where he finishes most of the year.

I think she is kinda ugly anyway to be honest and I bet she is scary without makeup on.

After running behind Bubba lap after lap, Kyle ordred the team to make some adjustments without Bubba knowing.

I wouldn't say ugly by any means - maybe "gawky"....easy access to boobs have been a boon for ladies who would otherwise just be run-of-the-mill flat chested bean poles.

I suppose. I have never been a fan of store bought goods though. I preferre the real thing. ;)

The thing that sucks is that I actually liked Kyle for years in the cup series, but something about this year is really rubbing me the wrong way about him racing in the truck and nationwide series. I just think its too much not to mention that I'm having a very hard time accepting that Kenseth (the sneaky traitor that he is) is now in the Gibbs organization. I never liked Kenseth though and it always kept me from cheering for a Roush car too. At least now I can support my family and cheer for the Roush boys! I will actually wear my Roush shirts now!!!

Nice win for Kyle.
Some of those youngsters show some serious potential. I can't wait to see them in the Nationwide Series, hopefully they'll force out some of the stale field fillers.

Just my opinion but I think it helps attendance. Kyle does his best to play the role - but it looked like he was struggling a bit in Victory Lane today to seem excited.

It's OK with me though - since you have to declare. Racing is a sport but it's also entertainment.

Racing certainly is both of those things but Nascar is a also business.

yeah business wise, Kyle had three trucks entered, I'll give ya that. I think Kyle was sandbagging myself, whenever he wanted he could run away and hide. I can deal with nationwide, but this was too lopsided IMO. He didn't break a sweat.

Thing is, he's putting up his own money to race AND he's paying for 2 trucks to develop some talent.

There sure are a a lot of mixed signals coming out of the KB haters group. One minute he is to good for this series and there is no competition for him, and now they think he has to secretly order changes on his teammates setup to win. The one thing that is very true, is that the haters will say anything to try and discredit KB, and that only hurts their credibility two fold.:D

I didn't take that remark serious, FB was kidding. We all know Kyle gave Bubba and Coulter slower trucks.

The thing is all of us would be doing what Kyle does if we had the talent and the opportunity.
My advice is, tune into the Golf Channel if NASCAR is too disturbing for you.

I don't take anything here very serious. That's why I had a big grin...I was kidding also.:D Then, Kyle must have gotten into the wrong truck during qualifying.;):)

I wouldn't want to watch Tom Brady or Tim Duncan go back and play in college. I definitely don't like watching Kyle in Trucks and Nation wide. Especially with Cup backing.

I am a little shocked at all the anti-samantha bush talk.
First of all she is fine young woman with great character.
In many ways she is the pefect woman, and we shouldnt be accessing her worth on shallow matters like her appearance.

-Her life is invested in racing 24/7.
-Even with her husband blowing more Toyota engines, than Japans blown engines during WW2, she is ever cheerful. You would think they had Chevy engines as positively as she conducts herself. She doesnt cuss and carry on, (I suspect she doesnt even poot).
-She nutures the young drivers at KBM (I dont like the bolt ons either, but I suspect she wants to appear motherly, she is too selfless to do it just for herself) I wish I enjoyed her nurturing
-She is a fitness freak, does palates, yoga, and gymnastics, and she dresses so properly delicious in her jeans.

And oh yes she is smoking hawt! :)

I never understood the mentality bagging on another guy's girl.
Perhaps some of the baggers would be comfortable posting pics of themselves with their girls for us to judge?

I was kind of hoping we would see Cobb and Harmon do a little bumping and grinding in this race.

I don't know where they're headed, but I saw about 5 CWTS haulers heading south on 301 on my way home tonight.

Pretty much.

I've heard some people claim that without the Cuppers in the lower series, no one would want to watch them. I beg to differ. I was flipping through the channels yesterday and stumbled upon the Truck pre-race show. I was 50/50 on watching it, because I don't like Dover that much, but then I saw that Darrell Wallace was on the pole and a few of the young guys were all starting up front with him. That turned the tide and made me want to watch it. Then, of course, I saw that Kyle Busch was in the race and I immediately felt disappointed, not because I hate Kyle (far from it), but because I knew he was going to win.

I actually did end up watching the whole race, just to see how the young guys would do, and as soon as Kyle finally took the lead it was like "yep, it's over." I was tempted to turn it off but then I just began watching everyone else from 2nd on back instead. In the closing laps, when I saw Matt Crafton (probably my favorite Truck series driver) and Ryan Blaney fighting for a distant second, I couldn't help but feel like that was the real race and should have been the battle for the win.

I like that Kyle is involved in the Truck series as an owner, but that stuff is barely watchable when he's in the driver's seat. His and the rest of his fellow Cuppers' dominance of the lower tier series is the number one reason why I don't watch them on a regular basis.

I watched the truck race until kb got to the front. At that point I have no more interest in watching him race or hear the announcers continue to pucker up to him. As far as his wife she is there for the money. Nothing much to like or respect in someone like that

I have more interest in the truck and nationwide series when the cup drivers stay out of it. The only time I care to see the cup drivers invoked is on the plate tracks and even then I would rather them not be there
