Dover Race thread

Jeez tony can be a real ass sometimes, real smart bang up yur car and yur in the chase

Jeez, it's been years since Petty done a burnout ;)

#17 and #11 are running 'em hard.

Hamlin is not one of my favorites. Still a long ways to go in the race. Kenseth though looks to be the class. Maybe Jeff can still finish pretty good.

Bobby, apparently you weren't alone. My good friend in Montana called me wanting to know what happened, also. My coverage never had a problem.

I couldn't believe it, Rusty was talking about going down for driver introductions. I could see the safety vehicles parading around the track, pre-race. We were already 30 laps in to the race.

Fine for Kyle Petty?

I thought it was might fine of Kyle to try and talk some sense into Denny. Like Kyle said he'd moved over for all the leaders but Denny comes along and dumps him. Now Denny is paying the price.
I guess he's been listening to Tony after all...

Oh, and I wanted to add I sure wish they'd had the audio for that discussion.

The air was BLUE!

Kenseth is catching a break here and Edwards could gain alot of positions.

There may only be one car on the lead lap when this mess is all said and done :)

And Jimmie is in 4th, 4 points back. It looks like Brian has his Race...

Now say what you may about the chase, and this is only the second race of the ten, but now with the points to close, what will the next race bring? Had they not had the chase, the championship would still be almost decided. I hate it for Jeffy in that case, but he's involved with all the other guys.

BTW, has anyone checked to see if the driver leading into the chase has lost the title?

Jamie was...

Yeah, some good driving but I think it was not Montoya's fault this time.

... All over the place. He got loose off 2 and tried to hang on. JPM went way low to avoid him and J-Mac came across his front bumper.

Oh, and, eff Rusty Wallace. His bias towards Jamie showed.

Back luck?

Bad luck for Kevin that loose wheel.

Happened three times.

I think that tire changer AND Todd Berrier need to go. They just cost Harvick a shot at the championship.

This is every week. Either the car sucks and Kevin can't do anything or they miss a lug or cut a tire and end up with a 15th or worse place finish.

I saw it coming to. I saw him in the top ten and said "Wonder when he'll blow a tire."
