Dumb race question....

Ok. I love fast cars but I'm not very knowledgeable about NASCAR (gasp! I know!).
Anyway, want to buy tickets for my girlfriend (BIG fan) to the Vegas 400 race in March but I have a few questions. First, which section would be best and second, why does it seem like the higher rows are "better"?
Sorry for my ignorance but I figured you guys could help me out!
Thanks,
Justin

Usually higher seats are considered better cause you can see more of the track and also the higher the seats means usually a higher intelligence of people around you!:D

You want to be able to see the pits clearly if you can!

the track is d shaped so that allows you to see past the person next to you.
But it's good to be able to see the cars on pit row

Sitting higher up allows you to see more of the track due to the outside wall not blocking your view. Also, simple geometry; you have to turn your head less to see the full track. At some tracks, it also keeps so much crap from blowing in your eyes.
