Ed King 68 Rest in Peace

One of my favorite stories telling it the way I remember it.
Ed talked about the opening rift to "Saturday night special". Ed played that opening rift, that is so great and unforgettable.
Ronnie listened and just took off with the opening words

"Two feet they come a creepin'
Like a black cat do
And two bodies are layin' naked
A creeper think he got nothin' to lose
So he creeps into this house, yeah
And unlocks the door
And as a man's reaching for his trousers
Shoots him full of thirty-eight holes.... "

Can a guitar and the lyrics and ever fit together better.
They were better that can I describe it, pure magic. I never get tired of them, I don't think I ever heard better or will ever hear music done that good again.
I just expected the stuff from them back in the day.

I remember the day like it was yesterday...the day the plane went down. I was making my lunch for school, I thought man there will never be any more music from Skynyrd, but they kept on. Unique band, what made them so good, that and talent.
