Edsel Ford to replace Bill France at ISC
Edsel Ford II, great-grandson of pioneer automaker Henry Ford, is joining the board of directors of International Speedway Corp., the parent company of NASCAR.
Ford, 58, will be formally elected in November, will take over the board seat of Chairman William C. France, who died in June. Ford has been a vice president of Ford Motor Co. since 1993.
James C. France, William C. France's brother, officially took over as ISC chairman. Lesa France Kennedy, ISC president and William's daughter, became vice chairman.
