Anoyone going to watch? I’m not interested in the majority of performers so I’m not going to watch but it sounds like a great tribute to an iconic musical career.
A three year farewell tour is appropriate.

Not a bad tribute concert. He has an incredible body of work. As a boy Country music was all I knew. The first time I heard anything else, I seriously thought it must be called "City" music.

My first exposure or diet of rock radio included a lot of his best stuff.
"Daniel, Benny and the Jets, Rocket Man, Crocodile rock, etc.
It was great stuff.

...and Taupin was/is a great lyricist.
Taupin wrote the lyrics and EJ put music to it.
They never collaborated together in the same room. Each trusted the other’s ability.

I prefer Reg before the hair plugs and the voice change so I will stick with the 70's

I see your teeth flash, Jamaican honey so sweet
