End of the splitter?

Maybe something good will come out of this project. :headbang:

I'd prefer there were not body / aero standards at all. If they're going to mandate certain aero features, all I ask is that they be the same for everybody. Otherwise, this doesn't make much diff to me.

If NASCAR is serious about low downforce, then the Gen 7 car needs to reflect that. Just as the Gen 6 was built as a downforce machine.

Dropping the splitter would be a start, but can't be the sole focus. Ride heights need to return. Get rid of the side skirts. Things of this nature.

RFID chips on the lug nuts - why not put them on more stuff like debris (debris cautions could have consequences).

Cars will have Serious Radio and be sync to Twitter, Facebook, ????????? The drivers will be encouraged to take selfies while on the backstretch. Oh...and big old coffee can exhaust tips. Maybe air bags on the suspension...

Gen 7 sneak-peek.

I don't need to know what the gen 7 would look like, if it still hits 200mph, the racing will look the same as you see now. More things change, more they WILL seem the same.

That #88 car has had some funky incidents.

The shifter & steering wheel came off. Jr misshifted into 2nd twice & Gordon has his belts come undone.
But HMS is the best team in all Nascar and has the most employees. :sarcasm:
