Entry Level series into ARCA

What about starting an ARCA Sportsman series, mainly for local tracks, that use the stock Ford Crown frame ?
Allow it to only be modified to change the wheel base. Allow weight jacks at all 4 corners and an adjustable front sway bar. Stock suspension parts, stock brakes. Mandatory full perimeter roll cage.
Allow frame/ body interchange, with the motor being the standard GM 602 no matter what body.
Tracks could even allow teams to put a claim on the winners motor, which would be the price of a brand new GM 602.
Of course there should be a standard tire, one that is of hard compound that will last many races and be very affordable.
The local tracks should invert the start of the feature from the previous weeks feature. Any new drivers would have to start on the tail, but hey, if they can't pass too many cars, at least they will have a good starting spot next week.
Racing must have a healthy entry level division. It must be AFFORDABLE.

Well at this point ARCA is owned by NASCAR... so it would be more like starting an entry level NASCAR series. Which I guess would be something that would fall under the NASCAR Whelen All American series at local tracks.
ARCA does sanction a few other series though. ARCA Midwest Tour and ARCA Midwest Tour super late models and ARCA Gold Cup outlaw super late models.
Those are all touring series. I guess technically all of the local racing at Flat Rock Speedway and Toledo Speedway are also ARCA sanctioned...

What's happening with the other ARCA series with the Menards Series now under NASCAR ownership? Are those owned by NASCAR now as well?

Ron drager still owns flat rock and Toledo. So I assume Gold Cup would continue as usual, who knows if he can keep he ARCA name with it in the future.
CRA Super Series and Midwest tour aren’t owned by ARCA at all. Pretty sure they just pay to use the name. Midwest tour used to be ASA Midwest tour. Not sure if NASCAR will let them keep using the ARCA name after their contracts are finished. Maybe will continue business as usual, maybe Nascar will try to charge more or maybe the series will just go back to their own names

I still believe NASCAR bought ARCA just to keep someone else from buying it and expanding it, just like Nascar is buying all their tracks back, ( more control ) to keep them from giving dates to other racing series.
Just what is Nascar wanting us to believe, that buying ARCA and merging it with the K & N filter series that they already own is going to cure their current problems with The Monster Energy and Infinity Series ? Its like Major League baseball buying Babe Ruth baseball association and reorganizing it to help fill their Major League stands in the next couple of years.
I thought a lot of the top Nascar drivers came out of open wheel racing, I did not think ARCA had an open wheel series.
I really think that NASCAR believes it has sunk so low that another racing organization with proper financing could do some serious damage to them. These purchases seem like defensive moves.
Who were the last top Nascar drivers that came straight out of ARCA, Charlie Glotzbach and Benny Parsons ?

Which current cup series drivers came from open wheel besides Kyle Larson and Ricky Stennhouse?
Michael McDowell did run in Indycar feeder series before running fulltime in ARCA as well. Stennhouse also ran fulltime in ARCA before his switch to NASCAR. Larson ran fulltime K&N before moving to NASCAR.

Who were the last top Nascar drivers that came straight out of ARCA, Charlie Glotzbach and Benny Parsons ?

Current cup drivers that moved from ARCA to the top 3 series of NASCAR that I can think of:
Ricky Stennhouse Jr, Michael McDowell, Alex Bowman, Ty Dillon, Chris Buescher, David Ragan

These guys ran fulltime in K&N:
Joey Logano, Kevin Harvick, Martin Truex Jr, Chase Eliott, Alex Bowman, William Byron, Kyle Larson, Daniel Suarez, Austin Dillon, Matt Dibennedetto , Darrell Wallace Jr, Corey Lajoie, Matt Tift,

I think NASCARs feeder series have quite a few good drivers coming out of them...
Things aren't perfect with all of the series, especially the car counts in ARCA and K&N, but it is what it is...
