I need to think of something new for here
Thats not true , FOX Sports is its own entity , and you have Turner Sports which is its own entity as well, neither have anything to do with the entertainment aspect of its parent companys , but of course you are going to see local adverts on the hosting the networks, thats just how it works. Watch a NFL game on FOX/NBC/CBS and tell me, how many adverts you see for those networks prime time shows.ESPN has it figured out because their job is a sports network trying to bring the best sports coverage. Fox and TNT are TV networks that also show sports. They show sports to advertise their other programming.
One of the things that I like ESPN for is the lack of gimmicks , I have grown very tired of FOX's gimmicks, while TNT had some, they werent as bad as FOX, and ESPN doenest have two of what FOX has, the Waltrips, ESPN's current way they cover NASCAR races reminds me of the days pre 2001 TV contract, when the race coverage was about the race.
But with all that said, I am so looking forward to the fact that in about four months time, I never have to watch ESPN again, well at least for the next 10 years, and that for me, is great.
