Fall/Winter Weather Thread (2014-2015)

I'm really big on "comfortable." If it seems remotely uncomfortable you can pretty much count me out.
Jackets, sweaters, mittens, etc. = uncomfortable.

How about I let you drive the snowblower...and we'll hide the shovels??

Nice setup. I restore round fender JD's and have a snow blower for a '64 110. Not much need for a snow blower in Raleigh, NC though.
I take the 110 and a 318 to plow days.

Nice machine Randy, looks like it doesn't do much. LOL

I fixed this up for the wife and then she parked it. :) 1972 Ford garden tractor with blower and home made cab.
I put a winch on it as I didn't like the push pull system. Don't use it myself cause it is to slow..

This is the fella I use myself. 1962 "David Brown" tractor with a double auger blower. One auger is off because my neighbor trid to pass a log through it.

Going to over haul it all this year and move the blower to the front. I am getting to old to twist around in the seat. 40 HP Diesel.

Damn near 60º today, but windy as hell, and rain on and off. Back to the 30s tomorrow

Clutch....that pic was taken in Novemburrr...pre snow. no cab...so I have to really bundle up.

Fortunately Pete...I don't need one as big as, what is it?? a David Brown?,...I can move whatever falls with what I have...and it doesn't take up much barn space. :D

Great set-up Pete !!

I would really like to have that for my wife. :)

DAMN! 65 degrees. Weather forecast says 80% chance of rain and radar indicates rain all day today. But all is not lost. There is plenty to do inside starting with working on my knees to finish screwing DuraRock to the bathroom sub-floor and hope to start mud for shower pan this afternoon before working on shower pan liner. Plumbing for shower, done! Build wall between shower/toilet area and vanity this afternoon. Full day taking advantage of the rainy weather.

Absolutely gorgeous today. Like 65º and sunny. Finishing raking all the flowerbeds out in a t-shirt.

We actually got into the low 40's today...alot of $hilt melted...

It's -27 and the WC is -36

a few more days and we should start to climb out of this cold snap.

The media has their heads so far up their @$$e$ that I'm surprized they can see a cold snap coming...

On the way home I stopped by the store. When I walked in, it was raining. I was in the store no more that 5-7 minutes, and I came out to snow. Windshields were covered.

It snowed here but didn't stick (which means I have to go class today)

But it's gonna be cold all weekend.

Good news is it's gonna be to cold to watch anything but the races :)

Freaking 22º here right now. Snowed a little yesterday afternoon, and it's supposed to be cold this weekend. I hate winter. Want warm.
