Just 2 races remain in the Sprint Cup Series regular season. Already all 16 spots in the Chase are filled, but only one is guaranteed. Petr Smetana (#43) has clinched his spot in the Chase, but for the other 15, there are still scenarios where they could miss out. There is still plenty of time to shake things up, so don't give up yet!!

Our Player's Council is still rolling! I've emailed them about some things here and there and bigger things will be discussed with them soon. If there is anything at all you would like us to discuss in the Player's Council, please email me at [email protected]. Just because you may not be in the Council does not mean you do not have a voice!
The weekly awards (with the exception of Pole and MVP) are cancelled, effective immediately. This will save me plenty of time in between the results and preparing for the next week. I apologize to those who looked forward to the awards each and every week. But remember we WILL have our season-end awards during the offseason! Our activity does not end with the checkered flag at Homestead!!

Last weekend, we saw Xfinity and Truck races at the same time on Saturday and a record-breaking Fantasy performance on Sunday. Oldschoolracing519 (#18) finally reached victory lane in the Truck Series after being in the Chase as the overall point leader for some time now. Meanwhile, Mik Maqracer83 (#29) won his 2nd Xfinity series race, barely beating out Slicedbread96 (#96). On Sunday, it was Oldschoolracing519 yet again with the Michigan sweep, and he broke records in doing so. He scored the highest Sprint Cup score on record (40) and had the largest margin of victory (19). Both records are expected to stand for quite some time!
In preparation for 2017, where we will have a new perspective on absences, we will no longer be separating inactive players from the point standings. We also are reissuing their numbers since new players won't be coming in at this point in the season.
For the first time in a long time, there are no potential inactive players this weekend in any series. Let's keep that sentence true throughout the rest of the year!!
