Question of the week: Indianapolis is the root of American racing. Most drivers started racing because of their dream to cross the Brickyard. A track so iconic, it brings people to racing. So what brought you to our Fantasy League?

The Crown Royal presents the Combat Wounded Coalition 400 at the Brickyard (what a mouthful) is our 5th and final Dash4Champs event in the Sprint Cup Series. Jakub Smetana (#42) could join Showtime (#44) by winning a 2nd Dash4Champs bonus and could lock himself in the Chase with a hypothetical win. 3 other competitors will have a say in that. Jolly Mean Giant (#67), MJM (#84), and @Bob (#94) will be racing for the 5 point bonus.
24EVER (#23) started on the Pole for the New Hampshire 301, but Jakub Smetana (#42) took over the lead early looking to sweep the weekend. Then we had Beef (#3), @Conner (#98), and Rayday15 (#15) up front. Once the race starting to get into a rhythm, the strength of the field was decided as MJM (#84) went on a run leading 4 of 5 updates before the finish. But as we have noted in the comments from last week, that "water bottle" caution changed everything. Kitkat8 (#8) was sitting in the bottom half of the field in almost every update. One year ago, she was just one point shy from winning the 2015 championship, she now finds herself in the Chase once again with the win at New Hampshire! Final results, awards, and points below:
