This is a fantasy game that has been going on another board for some time, and I figured I could bring it to this board and see how many people would take interest. Basically, this is a pick-'em league: you predict the top 10 finishers of each race, and you get points based off of where they finish. You receive 15 points for predicting the winner, 4 points for predicting someone to finish in the top 5, and 2 points for predicting someone to finish in the top 10. You also get one bonus point if you predict a driver to finish exactly where he finished in the race.
Picks must be formatted like this:
Jamie McMurray
Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Kyle Busch
Kevin Harvick
Joey Logano
Kurt Busch
Jimmie Johnson
Brad Keselowski
Matt Kenseth
Marcos Ambrose
If you want to participate in this league, you have two options: go to www.racing-reference.info, scroll down to the blog posts at the very bottom, click this link: http://racing-reference.info/showblog?id=1799, go to the comments page, and submit your picks; or you can PM me your picks, and I will post them on that forum for you. I personally would recommend the first option, seeing as all standing updates will be posted on that forum. Note also that this league covers a VARIETY of different series (Sprint Cup, Nationwide, Truck, IndyCar, F1, Grand-Am, East/West Series, Canadian Tire, Modified/Southern Modified, ARCA, Indy Lights, and Toyota Series; although these are run by several different league heads), and there will be an overall championship awarded to the person who scores the most points over all of the different series.
So, that's about it. Anybody interested? (the Unlimited predictions as well as the first ARCA and East predictions are closed, but Battle of the Beach predictions are still open)
