Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s use of a four-letter expletive Sunday in a live post-race interview on NBC after his win at Talladega Superspeedway is being reviewed by the Federal Communications Commission, Bloomberg News reported Thursday.
An FCC spokesman was quoted in the news service report, which moved on general news wires Thursday evening. That report came several hours after NBC announced it would begin using a delay in such interviews, beginning with this weekend's NASCAR Nextel Cup race at Kansas Speedway.

"We've gotten a few dozen e-mail letters of concern," FCC spokesman David Fiske said in an interview with Bloomberg News. "We'll subject them to the normal review procedures, in which we look at the law, the precedent, the facts, and the context."
