Felix Sabatas tears into Kenny Wallace

Not sure why Sabates is mad about. First of all that's what the media does, they give their opinions and it just so happens that Kenny is 100% right here.

That team blows and Kyle WILL be lucky to be in the top 20.

Sabates is being a little bitch. Eat it pal.

Booo freakin Hooooo Sabates Wallace said the truth. You don't like it get off that mountain and make your team better.

Hes underselling Egr's performance a tad bit and complaing about Egr not making their own engines, like that makes you a great team lol.

I just dont think he would say that about RPM

I don't think Wallace was that far out of line...Wonder if these announcers are going to speak more of their minds now that most of them lost a bunch of air time work and money.

didn't listen, but if Wallace is saying the 42 blows then he is stupid and out of touch. Montoya has been fast all year long. The switch to HMS equipment has done them good. McMurray started the year good too. The speed is there, just need a little luck on the side of both cars.

Didn't MCmurray have 3 mechanical failures in a row? lol.

May have, I don't have that info by my side. Mechanical failures doesn't necessarily mean that equipment isn't better. Less reliable maybe, but also it has higher performance. It would be different to have mechanical failures while running 25th or worse than having mechanical failure while running in the top 15/10.

It sure is out of character for Kenny to tear a team down like that. I think Felix has a point.

OMG!!!!!! now that is funny right there. that is something you don't see happen in this sport very often. its clear there is some very bad blood between them.

yeah I think Ricky..I mean Felix would take a shot at him if he was close enough. Kenny might be pissed enough to smack him back.

He took way to long getting to the point....if he had one,... for me to listen.......

I barely made it to 9 minures myself.

He just went on on how Kenny has no right to talk about this and that.

Ultra sensitive emo stuff.

Kenny Wallace is irrelevant. I don't have a problem with what Wallace said, but I don't really agree with him. And Sabates is right. Kenny was a below average driver in his best day.

He really didn't say anything any different than most of what I've read on here over time. I think its nothing more than an huge overreaction by Felix S. Wallace was asked for his opinion and he gave it. Felix may not like it but seriously, in response would like to see him fired over it? Maybe Felix needs to spend more time worrying about making his cars faster and finishing better and respond in that manner. Get a clue Felix.

And Kenny has never claimed that he was a great or even good driver.

Fair to say Kenny's not angling for a ride with EGR.

I think we should settle this with a 4 man steel cage battle royal featuring Felix "the cat" Sabates vs. Kenny "don't call me Rusty" Wallace vs. Kyle "she ain't a driver" Petty vs. Denny "the twitter OG" Hamlin.

Wasn't the 78 car not considered to be a "top notch" car too until the driver change? Seems to me the driver can make a difference. Could be if Larson is as good as some think he is, he'll turn that car into a top 15 and if not Felix may be in the scrap metal business.

It's not going to matter. If Larson falls on his face, his fans will say that he was brought up to soon and that his cars are no good, while his critics will say he wasn't as good as the hype foretold.

IMO, the only thing Larson can do is run top 15 - as he said - and win at least one race. A tall order but I honestly think that he stands a decent chance of pulling it off. Ryan Newman had very lmited NWS experience but did rather well in the early part of his cup career, so it's not unprecedented.

Huh below average.....hmmm might want to reconsider that a little, certainly no super star , but below average? Any driver that makes it to the Cup level is not below average.

I couldn't understand a word Sabates was say ing between the accent and talking so low. Can someone sum up what was said here?

Some of the highlights were....

He called Kenny parrot mouth
A no driving piece of junk
said he would kick his ass
and that Kenny couldn't win a bicycle race if he were driving a Volkswagen.

I can think of at least one, see if you can guess, she drives a chevy.

Do you have dibs on that for a 2014 bold prediction? Personally , I think 25th will be more likely .

Id say theres below average.. and below average cup series drivers'.. referring to a cup driver as below average would more relate to the people they're racing against, not the entire world of motor sports.

Again...below average? She competed at a high level in Indy Car, drove near the front in NW, almost won on a road course in NW, won the pole at Daytona, led laps, finished in the top 10......and you are calling her below average? Hmmm... you should reconsider your statement!

And , if the average of the 44 plus cars in Cup series is 22 , her 27th placing is pretty close to average in her rookie year . But we're wasting our time on closed minds .

Dude you're awesome. :p

Agreed.

Have a question for all the doubters.. You really think experience plays that much of a factor? Or do you just deny the fact that EGR has shown speed if not results? Talent does come into play and I believe Larson is the most talented driver since Logano at least..Stenhouse a two time champ isn't doing **** in a Roush car.. Maybe it's because he has subpar talent?
