Female "NASCAR Driver" Exposed Over False Statements

“We decided not to go out on the racetrack any time she was out there just to keep from anything possibly happening.”

:XXROFL: Good ole' Tommy Lemons, Jr.

More goodness:

"My finest memory of my racing experience would be when I was about 5.I had a little Corvette car, and my dad put two car batteries in it. I literally drove that car until the wheels fell off. Ever since then, I’ve just been so enthused about motorsports.”

This article has some really good stuff in it. Lol

her father, Bobby Norfleet was a fairly prominent driver himself throughout the ’90s, and is credited with helping the sport gain traction in the African-American community.

From Bobby Norfleets Wikipedia page:

In 2000, Norfleet announced he would field and drive his own team in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, but was unable to come up with sponsorship. NASCAR Vice President Brian France called a number of companies who were interested in sponsoring a NASCAR team, and even flew in some company executives.[1] Norfleet came up with sponsorship from 40 Street Records and So So Def Records. Norfleet failed to qualify for his first race at Martinsville Speedway.
Norfleet made his NASCAR debut at the Portland International Raceway road course. He competed against Bill Lester in that race, which was the only time in NASCAR history that two African-Americans have competed in the same race. Norfleet qualified 11 miles per hour slower than the pole speed, but made the race after 33 cars qualified for 34 spots.[1] He finishing 32nd after he suffered handling problems. He was also black-flagged three times by NASCAR for not maintaining the required minimum speed.
In the next race at Pikes Peak International Raceway, Norfleet's entry was denied by NASCAR officials, as he was not licensed to run tracks larger than a mile. NASCAR requires drivers to either show proficiency on shorter tracks, or have some experience on one mile and larger tracks in a lower series before they are allowed to race on larger tracks.[1] Norfleet claimed the decision was racially motivated, and people protested outside NASCAR's headquarters. After failing to qualify for his next race at Evergreen Speedway, he stopped running NASCAR.

He qualified for one truck race! And only because 33 trucks showed up for 34 spots. Lol

This story has so little Nascar content that it barely qualifys to make this forum. But , if it helps get women out of racing ,go for it Andy.

She's an airhead and needs to be kicked out of racing...that's just a little something I recall reading about Patrick last fall but it could apply to all females, I suppose :D

I can't understand what she thinks she stands to gain by this charade. No responsible team will hire her. She's just making herself look ridiculous.

Maybe she thinks there's money in "them there rednecks."

“She was extremely slow, just kind of in the way almost,” Lemons said. “We decided not to go out on the racetrack any time she was out there just to keep from anything possibly happening.”

The whole quote

Wonder whose Nationwide firesuit she stole for the picture, they custom fit those things and its about 3 inches too large for her neck and look at the right shoulder hangin down. Sheesh.

She has her own PayPal account and perhaps she figures people who want to see a woman or minority get a chance in NASCAR, they will contribute to her "team" effort.
I see scam written all over this deal.
Unless she performs on the track, she is a "wannabe," a poser with a PayPal account fishing for the gullible.

She's just a kid . This is no reflection on her . It does reflect badly on racing and women ,unfortunately. The article had more to do with that ,than with her.

Actually , I don't know why this isn't in the "other racing" section , it really isn't Nascar related and it's going to get ugly.

Come on ted, even at my age her being 26 is old enough to have some scruples. I truly looked for the wink or sarcasm at the end of that post.:D

I didn't look at her age . But , thinking it over carefully , it doesn't change a thing I said.:D The a.hole who wrote this crap did it to embarass women and Nascar .

Could be but most probably to sell a story.

Yeah I am thinking Viv Bernstein is Andy writing incognito. The Bernstein name also has that Jews owns everything signature, and they aint letting no sista driva in the house.

Really Ted Viv Bernstein doesnt seem like someone one with an axe to grind. Just someone intelligent enough to appreciate and demand the real McCoy.

Some of her work is listed below

They certainly went out of their way to discredit someone who wasn't even on the map. Maybe The National Enquirior has bought out The New York Times.
Maybe her daddy dropped a dime to a reporter for the publicity. You know what they say, no such thing as bad publicity, look at Lohan, kardashian, hiltons etc.

My guess is Dad had a pretty big hand in this and was thinking they would just get things handed to them.

Is there any story if you take the word "Nascar" out of the title?

Oh, I dunno. An exposed woman is always good for a look-see........... makes a decent story too. This might work ....
http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/n...and/woman-charged-with-exposure-29115053.html

Or this: http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/20...n-woman-indecent-exposure-delray-beach-police

Decent stories about exposed women. Or maybe not...... anyway, NASCAR is not involved, at least as far as we know..

I agree, it's not much of a story. Never heard of her and for the most part neither had NASCAR. She wasn't on the radar. Did anyone one here even know anything about her before Andy posted this thread. I'm guessing not or we would have seen something posted on here before.

We saw Jo Cobb claim she was a nascar driver to help hype her clothing line, and now a black female is doing something like that. I guess nascars drive for diversity is working in areas they never imagined. ;)

I can find Jennifer Joe Cobbs NASCAR stats but I am having problems locating Tia Norfleet's. Cobb may not have good stats but she can honestly say that she's a NASCAR driver.

You sir, methinks, hit the nail right smack on the head. If they had there would be a minimum of 86 threads by now.
