Female "NASCAR Driver" Exposed Over False Statements

That she plans to run nationwide but does not have the license to would be the point

The girl don't know when to give up.

Those are four very nice NASCAR Nationwide Series licenses.

Look real close, they are NOT NNW licenses like you said, you need to recalibrate your sarcasm meter:sarcasm:

Thank you kkfan for clearing that one up . Perhaps you can explain what the point of his post was , when there was no claim in the article that she had anything other than what was shown in his picture .

The article stated she did not have a Nationwide Series license and only had a Division I license. She tweeted this picture as her rebuttal to the New York Times article...... they're still not Nationwide Series licenses.

First time I've seen a "NASCAR" driver website that had all sorts of pages and nothing to do with racing. Although it appears that the checkout line fishwraps have bought on that she's legit.

I took the "Norfleet Challenge" but it appeared to be an appeal for contributions.

Shouldn't her dream right now be finishing two laps at a decent speed?

Interesting that her "sponsor" is Verizon and yet I don't see Verizon on her suit.

And the comments on the ESPN article are exposing her big time. The Wash Post decided to ban comments altogether (as did the NYTimes).

This appears to be a case of an almost complete media creation based on no accomplishments whatever. That might get you into the White House but in Stock Car racing you have to prove yourself. Hope the poor woman isn't killed by trying to do too much too fast soon.

Sounds like they're run by Nascar. That pesky 1st amendment only applies to the other guy's sandbox ;)

Her dad let her drive her moms car to the store, by herself at the age of 9. Great parenting

Great reporting that HLN did here, didn't check any facts...

First African American woman to get a Nascar license? Horse pucky! Her daddy was a Nascar driver? One race and black flagged 3 times does not make one a Nascar driver.

I hope she doesn't follow Jennifer Lawrence on Twitter. Then she's gonna say she's worked with an Oscar winner.

BS or not, she is getting exactly what she wants, exposure and people talking about her. Good or bad they are still talking.
