First Cars.....

1967 Mercury Cougar, 289 HP bored, stroked and polished, all chrome engine accessories later upgraded to a 351 Cleveland, red as red can be, ran like a raped ape, and I would boil my aged elders in oil to have it back.

british racing green and it was a lemon............
:) paid 1200 dollars for it...payments were 56.42 a month.......
that car stranded me so many times...........

my then boyfriend had a 68 GTO..green with redline tires....I thought I was hotstuff when he picked me up for a date..hahahaha:D

I loved this car........................now think ORANGE, with white racing stripes.....................:D

I have had a number "B's"....and they are not just a car, they are an adventure.....as are most all British Leyland products. Thing is that the motors are tiny and so folks tend to over rev them to get them up to speed.

Had one B that I got 450,000 miles out of without so much as a valve job. But yea, unless you knew the car real well, were willing to tinker, and kept a hammer for beating on the fuel pump now and then, you was stuck.

Got to play with a buddies Cougar when it was time to redo it. Came out real clean. Veritable rocket on wheels.

Here's mine.......bright red!! No babes magnet though!!:)

This wasn't my first car but............if someone REALLY loves me;) :itslove: it will be "my" next toy.

Ohhhh DE he doesn't LOVE me THAT much. He will just tell me "well babe ya better strap a mattress to your back, and hit downtown." LOL

You mean he won't even humor you a little and let you test drive it first?:ROFLMFAO:

Got that mattress ready yet?

Here ya go, my love...a peace offering... :daisy:

Ain't too sure I can do a fully restored lead sled, but maybe, just maybe....

What the mattress or the car?

1976 buick skyhawk with a v6 and 5speed. silver with black stripes!!:D

:leap: I had a winner. It was a 1960 model Corvair. Black with red interier. Wasn't much of a girl getter .But fun to drive anyway.

1970 Chevelle 300 horse 350, auto with console and bucket seats, I loved that car. It was Gold with saddle interior. It met its demise in a 4 car pile-up. The guy who caused it was an idiot from another country.

Late 70's Buick Regal. If I stopped to fast, the Driverside door opened up. It met it's demize when I was on my way to work and the belt that drove the power steering pump broke. Unfortunately, it also drove the water pump.:(

Wasn't my first, fourth actually, but it was my first love. Brand new 1964 GTO, 389 with trip duces, 4 on the floor. Fastest car in St. Augustine at the time. Ran her hard and repaired her offten because of it. If I could do over, I wouldn't treat her so rough. Then again it was all muscle and almost impossible to just tool around in, you had to feel the power. ARGH! ARGH! ARGH!

My first car was a Blue 1995 Ford Escort Wagon. This car was covered from front to back with Jeff Gordon stickers (many bumper stickers, some small round decals, and a big 24 that was in one of the back windows). If I can find some pictures of it I will post them.

But 24rainbow...........Jeffie drives a Chevy!!:ROFLMFAO:

boy I would take that car in a minute.................give it to me.............only for the Jeff Gordon stickers........

The transmission went so we got rid of it about a year ago.

Mine was a 1978 Olds Cutlass Supreme...I loved that car. It was a piece of SHEITE, but it was cool. When I started driving everyone had to own a Monte or a Cutlass. It had a lot of ROOM;) in the FRONT and the BACK;) ! It drove like a dream.

Mine was a 1997 Chevy S-10, not bad for a junior in High School at the time! I sure did have some fun in it while I had it!
