Keep in mind that is about 25 minutes south of he track.

I just looked at my notes and I have Killens Pond Campground earmarked for that race.

Another tip..... Unless it's changed recently, there's no sales tax in Delaware. Great place to purchase big ticket items.

Fall of 1991 at Dover, I remember that race. Wasn't there but I remember the old man wearing them out. I was at Martinsville the next week to see him complete the sweep, and I was there at North Wilksboro the next week too see it end.

As far as tips for going, I never been to Dover, but I'd suggest getting there as early as possible and just take it all in. There is nothing like it.

I swear...... Harry had that race won....... no doubt!!!!!!! That was a heartbreaker for me.... and a whole lot of folks that were Harry Gant fans...... I was and always will be a Mark Martin fan..... but... Harry Gant ... who couldn't have pulled for Harry???? He was the working man's driver.... Straight up and square as the day was long...... never pulled no crap... raced everyone clean and ran right up against the wall...... I sure miss him...
