Ford is suspending production of its F-150 trucks after a fire at a supplier's facility caused it to run out of parts for the nation's best-selling vehicle.
Ford will temporarily stop making the F-150 at its plant in Dearborn, Michigan, on Wednesday night. The company had already suspended truck production at a plant just outside Kansas City, Missouri. Those are the only plants that make the truck.

a big problem that is new and because many manufacturers are downsizing, after the vehicle is built they don't have parts available for the vehicles they have sold. That isn't a good reason to make a customer buy a new vehicle in the first place.

Maybe they can borrow the parts from GM:lol2::lol2:

Grandpa's car had the interior radio/HVAc controller go out. None on our continent. He drove around for 5 weeks with a hole in his dash while it was sent off to be repaired. Dealer got it back, still didn't work, he traded the car in.
