No, they should do what every other sport has done. BUILD A FRIGGIN APP ALREADY! Kids love little tablets with apps. NFL, MLB, NBA, ESPN all have sweet apps. We got sprint with a network that barely works where they sell it. Go figure why the kids aren't watching.

This is the interactive age of sports, and if Brian is listening to me, he will call me and give me the job, and pay me millions. Yes....... MILLIONS. :cool:
 
2nd the app! Bring me what is made available online to my Verizon phone. Why alienate most everyone from this product? Not smart.
 
I'm not sayin Digger did anything but tick off older fans. I was asking if he may have been an attempt by Nascar to relate to kids.

No, not much for doing homework today. I just give little credit to the original claimer of that tidbit of information. If they're not willing to give up who said it and name names then IMO it's not very credible information. It sounds more like someone's means of trying to defend a failed idea.

I think that it's silly to think that the little rat is a detriment to the sport and a reason for declining ratings. There's bugger reason for that. I do think that FOX's time would have been better spent trying to make the racing experience more exciting on their network rather than the use of a goofy animation. It is what it is. It's an attempt to profit off of a captive audience. I can't see how the use of the animation would draw a child to the sport but it will cause their parent to have to spend money at the Digger hauler when they visit the track or when they log into dwstore.com. The sport itself is was garnered my interest growing up. I could watch cartoons on Saturday mornings if I were that interested in that sort of thing. My kids watch the sport today but it's not because of some cartoon. Fortunately, for me, I haven't had to spend time/money at the Digger hauler.

They have an iPhone app (if you use Sprint)

Yep. I'd go on vacation in Syria before I bought another Sprint phone. Sprint flat out sucks, and I've had phones on AT&T and T-Mobile before.

Times have changed MOEJOE, you don't need an excuse anymore. Just put your dress on and get to work. We don't want a pic though, somethings will never change:cool:
