FOX Sports 1

Get over it...it is Daytona and whether you like it or not having the 3 back on the track in Cup IS A BIG DEAL, what did you expect?

It's a number. FOX Sports is acting like Austin Dillon is the second coming solely because he's driving car #3.

I'm glad all the new fans who will be watching this week are getting bombarded with segments worshiping a man who's been dead for 13 years.

Andy the way I see it they have a right to worship him, he was probably the greatest driver of my generation and most likely would of won another Championship or two. No different than hyping the Patriots or the Red Sox and Yankees,

The Patriots went to the AFC Championship just a few weeks ago and the Red Sox just won the World Series a few months ago and the Yankees are still a thing.

That leaderboard is even more dreadful when a full field is on track. 1/4 of the screen.

Nascar says they want to motivate drivers more to lead a race.
Here's an idea: whoever's leading gets their sponsor graphic placed clearly on the screen -- like the top of that side leaderboard. Or on the bottom.
To hell with points for leading a lap. Put their sponsor logo crisp and clear on the screen. That will motivate a driver more than a few points. And every lap you lead, the happier you make your sponsor.

NASCAR on what?

Wonder if Fs1 is going to cut off the unlimited if it runs into UFC:Fight Night

No way in hell. UFC won't get half of NASCAR's audience.

There's a reason FOX Sports 1 is pushing the hell out of UFC and College Basketbore right now - because NASCAR is where the viewers are.

No big complaints from me about FS1 apart from the scoring thing...a tad too large for my liking.

FOX Sports Live, where all the post race interviews were moved to, leads with ... UFC. Looks like NASCAR was moved to FS1 to be a lead in for UFC. This is horrible.

So how up in arms are you guys that in 2015 ..7 cup races and 14 NNS races will be on FS1? Is that old news? LOL Im not sure but from what I hear from you guys a lot of people won't be very happy about that.

I also hate that damn thing on the right of the screen... bring the ticker back.

Saw where FOX will be tweaking the scoreboard after fans complained. Hopefully they get rid of the damn box and just put it back across the top of the screen.

Didn't hear, what's their plan? Still shocked how oblivious FOX is to even have that box make it to an actual race telecast..

oblivious ? hardly.....they moved social media dial didn't they ?
nothin sells like controversy !
new chase
new q format
new #3 on pole.........................

I actually prefer the new Fox leaderboard. Of course people complained like an old man at a deli, that's what people do. They'd get used to it. The noisiest fans are usually the ones you need to ignore. They get enjoyment from complaining. Doesn't matter if it's an improvement.

You never will hear from the casual fan who finds the new leaderboard easier to follow. It's always the bitter hard-core fan whining on twitter cause they are sad and bitter and just enjoy being miserable.

You're wrong my friend. I love how if you don't like some brand new idea, or a brand new driver, or a brand new format you are a bitter old fan who "you need to ignore".

Do you usually not utilize the right side of your television set? Particularly while watching an automobile race?

I know one thing. 99% of the time the scroller on top is covering the sky, the wall, the stands, and maybe the top of a fireball. Unlike the new ****.

Of course not. And why would you want to piss off the long time followers? They're the ones who have stuck with the sport for decades, they earned the right to complain. You newbies dont get it.

And the bolded part is just sad to hear you say.

And for your info, this is how the scoring used to be so if what you say its true then they should be happy with the almanac type scorecard. I asure you, that's not why people are complaining.

Its just obnoxious the way Fox is doing it.

A shame I can only like this post once.

Questions about the new screen ticker format were asked and answered on the most recent survey to NASCAR's Fan Council. It's open for anyone to join. There aren't any questions asked prior to being selected as a member of the Fan Council so it should be a pretty good cross section of fans. Looks like the fans have spoken and there's been some sort of reaction. Nothing wrong with that IMO.

You don't have to agree with what NASCAR or the networks do 100% of the time. Just sayin'.
