FOX Sports looking to broadcast Nationwide Series

Michael Waltrip's Winston victory in '96 means more to me than his restrictor plate wins while driving for the team with the best restrictor plate engine program.

But, despite being an annoying man on TV and a terrible race car driver, he looks like he's built a good race team.

Starting to look like the "new" TV package will look a lot like the old one (2001-2006).

The most interesting part of the article talks about where FOX wants to add more Cup races:
Sources said FOX is looking to perhaps add some of the Cup races broadcast by TNT to its lineup and broadcast the Nationwide Series during the same period on the schedule. The Nationwide races would likely appear on FOX Sports 1, which replaces Speed Channel in August.

In other words, TNT is out.

SPEED always uses TNT's crew during these races. Half the people on TNT work for FOX Sports anyways.

didn't know speed used tnt crew ........xcept kyle. hope he gets good deal w/ fs1. refreshin change.

so guess it ain't too interestin . ha!

He was winning races before he came to cup, he would of been a better fit to stay in the Busch Series back in the day. Can't not judge a driver/racer just by one series. I love the guy but Robby Gordon is not a good cup driver, but does that make him a bad driver? No, he's a hell of an Off Road racer and did fairly good in Indy cars.

But reguardless of his stats as being a bad driver, he still have more Daytona 500 wins then you and I.
Don't forget that Gordon won a couple races and almost won a couple more when he was driving for RCR. He just was boneheaded and started his own team.

It was a boneheaded move but Gordon was always talking about starting his own team. I remember back in his IndyCar days he was interviewed by RPM2Night and was talking about starting his own team and how he always wanted to drive for himself.
