Funny thing..rocks and snow blowers don't like each other

Was just finishing up the driveway, (crushed rock section) and the blower auger picked up a rock...Im used to that and have the cars, e c out of reach but the rock wedged itself between the auger and the wall of the blower stopping it dead.

So......The blower is running but the auger is not engaged. I stick my hand in there...the auger is not engaged but the blower was running. Why does the wife see me at that time and that time only!!!! I know it was not the smartest thing but I had it under control....

She blasts me and I shut it off. Grab a hammer and the rock is gone after a few hits.

Women have great man vision...they can tell when you are doing something stupid ....

Lucky you have a hand left. I hate to say it.......... but..... if the rock had dislodged, the auger could have grabbed your arm, sucked it in and torn it off at the elbow or shoulder. I work around machinery every day and freak stuff like that happens on a regular basis. I am glad your wife was there.

The auger was not on, but I if something slipped, etc. Thanks Kmart

Well, I was snoblowing last Monday, and before I started, I asked the Wife if she did a dog pickup in the back . Yes she replied. I worked my way back towards the wood pile, and a Turd or three flew out the chute. It took me a minute to figure out what it was. Then I had a good chuckle....
