Ganassi Teams are going to flip the switch in less than a month

all those guys have been in fights, when was the last time jmac mixed it up with another driver outside the car? if your in the sport this long if your tuff that at least needs to happen. I think I know more about tuff than you seem to. I guess tony and kevin are wusses. beyond that all those guys are characters and personalities that bring "stuff" to the sport. maybe its something crazy they say. maybe its tony just wrecking a guy. Or in kevin's case its pushing brad k into jeff gordon and triggering a brawl. All those guys leaving the sport has been really bad because we seem to have a crisis of colorful personalities. that is what I mean by blue collar. maybe there is a fight. maybe there is some mouthing off. one of the greatest things about nascar is its presonalities. jmac=meh
I will give you Bowyer, for the sake of argument. Waiting to fight until you are safely behind your pit crew is not tuff. Nor is using your front bumper as a weapon. I never said that Jamie was tuff, either.
Being a sociopath does not make one tuff, just a sociopath.

Say what you will. You know as well as I do that pushing one guy who doesn't want to fight into another guy who doesn't really want to fight and then slinking away is the definition of rugged manliness. That and not backing down from physical confrontations with such imposing figures as Brad Keselowski, Kyle Busch, and Joey Logano.

It has been a long time since we've had posts on here about how being a "Real Racer" willing to stand up for himself and not back down is defined by pugilistic prowess. But now, sadly, we are back to such childish drivel. **sigh**

It started as a McMurray thread with him calling a shot for his team... after realizing he hasn’t done much in the last 8 seasons we had to go elsewhere with the topic

We can chalk this up for what it is I guess

I know it's all part of how a given race unfolds, but had Harvick not wrecked out, Blaney's engine not failed, and Logano not suffered his damage, the results probably don't look as peachy. Not sure if there were any other happenings at the top of the field, those were just the first ones that came to mind.

When you take an objective look at it you kinda realize that Chevy overall isn't accomplishing much on pure speed right now. That's the killer.
That's a lot of ifs, bottom line it was racing ....that's what happens.

Larson did a great job today trying to flip the switch. Ganassi is getting close, closer than HMS.

hendrick is gettin much better, Elliott's team strategy was a little off. There isn't usually that much of that next week at Michigan. We'll see if the engine package Hendrick is talking about does any good. I think it has. Bowman was having a pretty good day until he was Hamlin'd.

I agree, and I love this part of the sport. Bit by bit. Damn, this sport is brutal.

I watch a leaderboard a lot. More then once three Hendrick cars were in the top ten, and it wasn't pit who do's that got them there. Despite JJ they have a wad of newbe's that haven't learned the fall off these tracks have with weather changes and how the different tire combo's work.IMO. Hard to tell the crew chief's what they need. And the new car is probably an advantage to them, compared to Johnson who probably has to unlearn a bunch. I think it works that way a bit in Larson's favor also. I see them getting there in the second half.

I have said from the beginning of the season that IF the car was fabulous, and everything went perfectly, Hendrick still had a tall hill to climb in figuring out debriefs with all of the new talent. Similar situation at JGR last year with Erik and Daniel.

yeah they didn't do so good either today. there is a reason the older drivers win a lot beside fast cars. They can keep them fast all day. KDB calling out he thought he had an air pressure problem in the second stage is why these older guys put the whipping on the younger ones
