I love short track racing (Taylor's Version)
Gossage said there were 168,400 people in the stands at tonight's race.
Texas Motor Speedway seating capacity: 122,377.
Texas Motor Speedway seating capacity: 122,377.
168,400 - 122,377 = 46,023 people without seatsHe's trying that Dallas Cowboy trick I think.Counting all the workers and people standing out side
There's only 10 or 15 rows on the backstretch, then it turns into the RV area (each RV gets 10 rows- but if they're under the RV's awning, those seats are empty)And while the front stretch looked perttty full (nice looking crowd) there were a few large bare spots along the back I noticed.
But, everything's bigger in Texas...even the exaggerations.
again I ask, includng or not including suites. 198 suites @200 each = 177,722 spectators. Plus the infield.Permanent seating for Texas listed on Jayski's is 138,122.
