Well, it only took a month on the TV show...
I used to watch that show occasionally. Lets just say that after watching it is extremely doubtful I'd let them work on my car.

Nice couple of cars. Not sure they’re worth the money even though they’re numbered cars. It’s not like they’re really rare, they made a lot of them in that body style.
I’d be more apt to recognize the value of one year only cars.
 
I am not sure they would be worth that asking price if they were 100% original.
 
jay leno or rick hendrick would probably pick them up. Richard probably knows he'd lose his ass at barrett-jackson
 
I’ve never been a guy that places more value on a “matching number” car.
Ford doesn’t even have matching numbers, just date codes on parts.
I like cars for what they are. I don’t care if they have original drivetrains, suspensions, etc.
I prefer updated safety components.
