The decision to seal the investigation files is based on a precedent set by another case — Liebowitz v Safir, 1998 — that requires cases to be sealed automatically when the suspect is cleared of any wrongdoing.
The only way the records, including the police, grand jury and coroner's records, could be released is through a court order issued by a judge.

Mr. Ward I'm sure if there was any video of Kevin other than the one where his chimpanzee ass tried to be King Kong and stop a race car bare handed existed, he may be shown to have been stupidly stoned before that fateful evening.

Mr. Ward, at this point in time I do believe this is no longer about your son or his memory, it's more about your bank account and an early retirement for you. Funny thing is Mr. Ward defense attorneys have ways to dig up the dirt that is there and you will doing an injustice to your son after his memory is drug through the mud in court proceedings aimed for the sole purpose of financing your retirement.
