Simple question. What do you all think?

For me its got to be either the 2000 Winston 500, 2001 EA Sports 500, 2003 Dodge Dealers 400, or 2007 Daytona 500.

From the races I've watched live it's probably the finish between Ricky Craven and Kurt Busch at Darlington. I think it was the 2003 Dodge Dealers 400.

2012 Budweiser shootout is one of my recent favorites

Watkins Glenn was pretty Bad Azz this year. Reminded me of Busch/Craven except on a road course, and Kurt Busch was right there in third waiting for a mistake

2007 Daytona 500 -- My two favorite drivers in a photofinish for the win.
2014 Goody's 500 -- Fun race, even more fun in person.
2002 Bristol Night Race -- Fun from start to finish.
2003 Darlington -- Video's been posted.
2002 Busch Series IRP -- EPIC battle between Shane Hmiel and Brian Vickers, they were side-by-side for like 100 laps.

So many others. The last four Watkins Glen races, Atlanta 2001, Just about any race in 1994 and 2001.

Then there are the countless short track races I've been to. :)

Greatest? I was at Darlington for Craven / Busch.

Favorite? My first race was the Oct 95 Busch race at The Rock. Three wide off turn 4 on the last lap. That's when I 'GOT' IT. Or the March '06 weekend at Bristol when it snowed all three days.

Beyond that, too many others to mention. Probably whichever one I was at most recently, or whichever one I'm going to next.

Every damn one of the 130 Truck, 98 Xfinity, and 65 Cup Toyota wins.

the 1978 Volunteer 500...it was the first night race at Bristol.

Yep.

Another personal favorite was the 2001 Atlanta race win Harvick won. Damn that was an emotional victory.

The 1985 Winston 500. Bill Elliott makes up two laps under the green to win the race and later become the first Winston Million Winner. There has never been such a dominating performance by a team before or after that race.

Greatest race IMO was the 1992 Hooter 500 with the unmanufactured drama of one of the best season finishes ever in the history of NASCAR.

My favorite was the 1998 Daytona 500. It was a great moment to see someone that accomplished something that they had been striving for for so long.

The 2001 Spring Atlanta race with 5 guys fighting for the lead in a pack with 15 to go was great and the finish with its aftermath were unforgettable. The cup race at the glen in 2011 with Kes, Ambrose, and Kyle Busch was as exciting of a race that I've seen in person at any level.

1. 1992 Hooters 500
2. 1979 Daytona 500
3. 2001 Atlanta spring race

I know it's a little cliche to say the '92 Hooters 500 at Atlanta, but that's definitely the one for me. That race is right up there with the '79 and '01 Daytona 500's as the most significant races in NASCAR history, IMO.

That sure is the best finish.

Several Bristol night races from the 90s. Also the 1994 Coca Cola 600

MY BEST FOR ME WAS THE DEGA RACE THAT MARK MARTIN WON WITH ALL THATS CHEVS BEHIND HIM AND DALE RIGHT ON HID BEHIND>

It was the last Dega Race that Earnhardt one, where he, by himself, drove up the middle to the lead and the win, damndest driving I have ever seen.

That was a good one, but I recall he thanked Kenny Wallace afterward for pushing him through.

I have a couple of favorites
1. 1993 Diehard 500, a couple years before my time, but I just love this race, Ken Squier, Ned Jarrett, and the rest of the CBS crew, classic race
2. 2014 Daytona 500 = Pretty simple reasons :D
3. 2007 Ausim Speaks 400 = 1st race i every went to, and Truex Jr's 1st win
4. 1979 Daytona 500 = One of the best races of all time

The 1985 Winston 500 at Dega. Bill Elliott makes up 2 laps under green and(no lucky dogs back then) pulls at least another 1/4 lap on the entire field to win. You will NEVER EVER see that kind of domination again in your entire life!! I mean that was just wow. I have never in my life witnessed that kind of speed difference in my life and never will again. Elliott and the Coors Ford Thunderbird just blew the entire field away.

He was just slightly faster in this test drive:

I could not agree more.
You posted exactly what I was thinking when I read the thread title.
