But isn't that the point? You never enjoy what's in front of you. You build up something in the past where nothing could ever compare to it. And yet at the time all you did was complain about them and praised the previous broadcast, and yes that extends all the way back to when ESPN televised them.
I'm so glad Maryland has some major restrictions on handgun purchases... :confused:

I don't think I complained about NBC. Most race fans hated them, but I could tolerate them.

It's not even the commercials anymore, since I have DirecTV Hotpass. I just think the coverage lacks, overall. There used to be a time when they would follow-up on tire problems and the like (like with Matt Kenseth). They just don't seem to do that anymore, FOX or ABC.

I guess I should just get used to it.

Dr. Punch was fantastic in the pits, and Allen is fantastic in the booth. That one simple swap would improve ESPN's coverage 10-fold.
 
I'd welcome a Pay-Per-View NASCAR channel- I'm paying Comca$t $60 a month to watch commercials as it is. :mad:
