I love the absolute defense of manufacturers here.Still, it looks like the closest Nascar has gotten to parity.Wonder if they will ever dictate sizes of engineering teams.

How many engineers does it take to tape up a yota? Less then it takes to bondo one. I think they laid off the bondo guys but it looks like they found work over at McDowell's team.
 
I don't think engineering will have a legal effect with aero obviously.So what engine-wise can they control?Are these engines speed density or heated wire controlled?How much can they play with injector size,head flow,or valve angles? Can they run any cam they choose?

Who in the hell is "a lot of people?" Been down this road before...."Many of us"......"Most of us"......."Everybody".......A joke. Hendrick got a whole new car. Posted an article no less than three times citing Chad ****** Knaus saying so. @StandOnIt refutes it. COVID gave Chevy one more year than intended, and dominate. Those are facts. The fact that tape was the violation. Totally illegal. Totally get it. Then, @StandOnIt decided that he is going to blab about the raised section being part of the violation when a guy (Bozi) who is an actual expert in the field says it's not. It's not the same thing.....please make sure that a lot of people understand that.
 
@Revman has been as straight up and fair on this as I could ever expect anyone to be. Great fan of Toyota, and critic when their team tries a cheat which hurts the brand.

That's not news...even for Reddit. The speculation (Bozi) that teams had been messing with it was the reason for the rules "update" Wednesday of last week. <Pounds head against wall> But ya gave @StandOnIt something to "Like" so there's that.
 
I get such a kick out of Denny on DBC. Claiming the tape didn't matter and they had the field covered without doing it......shut up man if your team thought the same thing they wouldn't be doing it.
