Well being a father isn't all that hard in my opinion - the beginning of the process is actually quite pleasurable 
Doing midnight feedings and changing diapers can be a chore.
I devised a plan for the midnight feeding. I had a couple "special nipples" that I used with the Playtex feeding thingy. I made the sucking hole larger. I could slam 7 ounces down my son in almost no time - occasionally the fluid would be coming out of his nose

My wife and I felt we had to practice for a few years before having kids just to make sure we were doing it right.
